card payment is required. Check the Zone4 confirmation list for this event (available
from the online registration section of Zone4) to be sure that you have registered
correctly. Please note all $ amounts are quoted in Canadian Currency.
Entry Fee:
$125 CAD - Canadian Nationals includes hill fees for Official training, and Competition
days, bag lunch Saturday, BBQ lunch Sunday.
$25 - Canadian Small Jumps Competition ( 20 & 40m) includes hill fees, bag lunch, BBQ
lunch Sunday
Prize Money:
A total of $1,800 CAD will be available for Canadian Nationals.
A total of $150 CAD will be available for Small Jumps Competition.

Competition Rules
To be eligible for participation in the 2017 National Championships all jumpers must possess a
valid FIS Code. For this competition FIS Rules will apply.
For the small hills event competitors must be registered members of their National Ski Association
Insurance
All athletes must be insured through their National Ski Association. The organizer is not responsible for any
injury of any person or damage of property.
All attendants have to be covered by an adequate insurance policy against accidents, illness and civil liability.
Race Office/Information
The race office is located in the Judges tower.
Additional Training Fee
Additional training day(s) LH/NH will be charged $25 CAN per athlete. Additional Training days
available March 28-30, 2017, Small hills $25 per athlete available March 28 - April 2 2017.
Venue
Facilities : A ski lodge and washrooms are located at Whistler Olympic
Park. Parking:
Please park in the designated lots as directed upon
arrival.
Transportation
Teams are responsible for their own transportation. Vehicles can be rented from Vancouver Airport. Please note
that car rental rates are close to the same at the airport as in town so best to pick-up and drop-off at Vancouver
Airport. Winter tires are required on Route 99 - Snow flake or M/S rated.
Waxing facilities
Waxing facilities are available at the venue and the Whistler Athletes Lodge. Additional wax
facilities can be purchased by teams at $30.00/day.
Concession A food concession is available on site at the lodge.
Additional Activities Alpine Skiing at Whistler Blackcomb 10 minutes from Whistler Athletes
Centre. Whistler has had a fantastic snow year so the Alpine skiing should be great. Alpine ski passes will
be required.

From: Airport follow Route 99 towards Whistler turn left on Callaghan Valley Rd 2hrs 30 mins 133 Km
From: Whistler Village follow Route 99 towards Vancouver turn right on Callaghan Valley Rd 15 mins

Vancouver International Airport - 133 km
Bellingham Airport USA - just south of the Canadian border. Flight cost may be better for travelers from the USA 203km ( 127 miles) to Whistler.

The Whistler Athletes’ Lodge was constructed to provide
accommodation for teams visiting Whistler for training camps and
competition events in both winter and summer. As an athlete/coach, a
member of a sport organization, arts and culture you too can enjoy this

The Whistler Athletes’ Lodge is located in Cheakamus Crossing,
Whistler’s newest neighborhood across the Highway from Function
Junction. The Lodge features 79 rooms containing 158 beds and a
brand new commercial kitchen and dining area for groups to enjoy
