During August 2013South Indian Bank conducted the final round of the recruitment drive

In October2013, One hundred and three students have registered the TCS Ignite Programme.
They are getting training from TCS.
During November 2013 Royal bank of Scotland conducted the recruitment drive.Eighty five
students undertook the online test and forty students were short listed. Twenty five students were
given offer letters after the technical and final HR interview.

Recruitment Drive for Standard Chartered Bank was conducted on 16th and 17th of December 2013.
One hundred and five students from BA and B Sc participated in the activity. Ten students were given
Offer Letter by the Bank.

Two recruitment drives were conducted in the college during the month of January.
Recruitment drive by IBM on 13 January, 2014
IBM is one of the world’s largest and most influential Technology and Services Company. IBM
Global Process Services (which includes IBM Daksh Business Process Services Pvt. Ltd) is an
integral part of the company’s Globally Integrated Enterprise model, providing business process
services to its clients across the globe. They have an extensive network of over 50 delivery
centers spread across five continents including a footprint across several cities in India.
Their requirements were for Practitioners for Technical/ Semi-Technical and NonTechnical Voice Processes and also for F&A and Web Processes in a 24X7 working
environment.
The recruitment process for the recruitment drive started at 10 am. A presentation was made to
the interested candidates. This was followed by an interview (free speech round, voice and
accent round) and multiple choice written assessments on Logical Reasoning, Grammar and PC
skills.
112 students attended the drive and 19 candidates were selected. They were handed
“Expression of Interest” letters stating they can join IBM post completion of their final year
examinations in their respective streams, subject to the terms of such “Expression of Interest”
letters.

Recruitment drive by KPMG on 24 January, 2014
KPMG Global Delivery Center (GDC) is a robust global delivery platform comprising of a talent
pool of 700 + professionals in Bangalore and Kochi. GDC provides standard as well as nonstandard Audit and Advisory professional services to KPMG US & KPMG Canada using a
globally consistent approach that comply with both regulatory and engagement team standards.
KPMG was offering the post of Associate to the final year students from BCom. The role and
responsibilities expected included familiarizing with all the applications on KPMG network,
processing the work request per the process manual/KPMG standard, ensuring the work is
completed timely, accurately and error free, attending all process and soft skill trainings as
required.
The experience requirements included good knowledge of MS office with excellent Excel Skills
and good accounting knowledge.
The selection process included 3 rounds of personal interviews and group discussion rounds to
assess clarity on concepts, communication skills and attitude.
26 students of final year BCom attended the drive. 19 students qualified the first round and
were asked to appear for the technical interview at their office at Infopark on 25th January 2014
at 9 am. Thirteen students appeared for the second round and three students got selected
and were handed offer letters from the firm. The following are the students who got selected.
