IS THAT A FACT? SABC 3’S FRESH NEW COMEDY GAME SHOW
DEBUTS THIS APRIL
Is That A Fact? is a celebrity-panel comedy game show that tests celebrities‟ gift for fiction!
The game show premieres on Saturday 8th April 2017 at 16:00.
Hosted by irreverent comedian Chris Forrest, the show will separate the balderdash from the
believable by putting celebrity tales under the spotlight, asking whether they‟re fact… or
fiction.
Each week, four celebrity panellists will take on the audience and each other in a variety of
cleverly-imagined, truth-discerning games designed to keep audiences guessing while
simultaneously tickling the funny bone.
Watch each week as celebrities spin extraordinary tales in pursuit of that exclusive and
much-coveted prize: bragging rights!

Episodic Breakdown
Episode 1
In the season premiere of Is That A Fact? comedian Chris Forrest introduces us to the
show where each week four local celebrities are tested on their ability to pull the wool
over each other and the in-studio audience‟s eyes by playing some crazy games. Does
Danny K have a pet python? Why did Leanne Manas insist on brushing her teeth before
exiting a burning building? What does Noluthando Meje do to ward off demons and
what is the relationship between comedian Donovan Goliath and Oprah?
Episode 2
In the second episode of Is That A Fact? we find out if Joey Rasdien is an origami master
in disguise. How did Shashi Naidoo survive a moth living in her ear for three days? Can
5FM DJ Nick Hamman do superman pushups and was presenter and style icon Jonathan
Boynton-Lee a beat-boxing champion at varsity. Hosted by the hilarious Chris Forrest.
Episode 3
Can TV presenter Graeme Richards remove a toothpick from someone‟s mouth without
so much as a single touch? Did a famous Hollywood celebrity really spit at Jeannie D
and Rob van Vuuren and why is Hlubi Mboya obsessed with feet? Find out who will be

Episode 4
In this week‟s hilarious episode of Is That A Fact? Boity Thulo demonstrates her uncanny
ability to tie knots in cherry stalks with her tongue. Philicity Reeken explains how she fled
a second story building using some linen and her bare hands, comedian Anne Hirsch
reveals a lipstick-stained cup that may once have belonged to Patricia Lewis and
adventurer Riaan Manser is quizzed on his ability to play Thunderstruck on the bagpipes.
Episode 5
This week find out if Mimi Mahlasela once performed as Jennifer Hudson‟s stunt double.
Comedian Deep Fried Man reveals the truth about his make-out session with a popular
South African actress, former Miss SA Liesl Laurie performs one of her hidden talents and
Danilo Acquisto proves that he can twist a particular body-part 180 degrees.
Episode 6
In this episode of SABC 3‟s fresh comedy game show, Is That A Fact? Joe Parker claims
he once slept in a police cell overnight, Jena Dover reveals the place where she had
her very first kiss, Leeanda Reddy produces an eye-patch that Samuel L. Jackson may or
may not have given her and Katlego Maboe spins a sensational story about bakuzzies in
Potchefstroom.
Episode 7
In this week‟s side-splittingly funny episode of Is That Fact? it‟s game on as Siyabonga
Radebe claims that he can do the splits just like Jeanne-Claude Van Damme. Find out if
Letoya Makhene has a talent for writing with both hands at the same time, did 5FM DJ
Roger Goode spend seven days on a trip around the world with Rihanna and Loyiso
Madinga teases the panel with his ability to perform Capoeira.
Episode 8
This week Is That A Fact? features hilarious in-studio shenanigans from Terrence Bridget
who claims to have dated George Michael‟s ex, Aya Mpama attempts amazing feats
with her eye-balls, Dave Levinsohn tells us about his Granny‟s toilet and Chris Mapane
unleashes his vibrato.
Episode 9
This week the gorgeous Michaella Russell claims that she has record breaking lightningfast typing skills, comedians Mpho „Popps” Modikoane and Mojak Lehoko will have you
in stitches and Fikile “Fix” Moeti explains her fascination for armpits. Watch out for crazy
versions of the Carlton Dance!
Episode 10
In this week‟s hilarious episode Amanda du Pont on what may or may not be her real
encounter with Cuba Gooding Jnr in Atlanta. Vic Naidoo tells us about a watery
accident that occurred while playing video games, actress Tema Sebopedi on eating
earthworms for money and comedian Ebenhaezer Dibakwane claims that he once lived
as a hobo in Grahamstown.
Episode 11
Was celebrity fashion designer Gert Johan Coetzee abandoned at a petrol station as a
child? Will comedian KG Mokgadi unleash his yoga skills in studio? What is Thabiso

Episode 12
In the penultimate episode of SABC 3‟s rollicking comedy game show, comedian Dalin
Oliver unleashes an incredible skill using the alphabet; presenter and music director
Relebogile Mabotje discusses cabbage; actress Sarah Kozlowski reveals which
Hollywood celebrity tried to pick her up at a bar in Beverly Hills and rapper Jack Parrow
tries to convince everyone that he is a bogdrol spoeg kampion.
Episode 13
In the unmissable final episode of SABC 3‟s hysterical comedy game show Is That A
Fact? was Roxy Burger once bounced from a nightclub? Does Sinazo Yolwa eat chicken
