Families CanSurVive Weekend Information for Your Safety Everyone must wear nametags throughout the weekend in order to participate in activities and be served at mealtimes. Please participate in all scheduled activities. Parents are responsible for all family members. Children are not to be left unattended in the cabin/tent and need to be supervised by caregivers at all times throughout the weekend. Parents will sign their children in and out of all activities for safety reasons. Please notify the staff if you or your family will not be present for a meal or activities. Please be prompt at drop-off and pick-up times for your children, in order to allow our volunteers to proceed with other scheduled duties. All children must be supervised by a parent while at the beach or pool. Lifeguards may or may not be present during activity periods. Please use caution. Childhood Cancer Camp events are always non-smoking, non-alcohol and drug free. To ensure that we do not incur needless charges, please leave your cabin or lodge room in good order. Medication will be a family responsibility. Medical staff is not on duty. Sunscreen is a MUST when outdoors; hats are HIGHLY recommended. Emergencies will be taken care of by calling 911, and then notifying: o Debra Glowik --Childhood Cancer Programs Director at (808) 4897425.
