Mother Teresa School is delighted to host the Catholic Primary Schools Netball Carnival at the
Tuggeranong Netball Association Courts, Were St, Calwell, on Sunday, 26 October 2014.
We would like to invite you to register teams to participate in this great event.
This pack includes:
Official registration and payment form
Food voucher note
Sample forms you may wish to use to inform children at your school about the carnival (please feel
free to adjust these as necessary)
REGISTRATION:
Please complete a registration and Payment Form for EACH participating team. You can also access
additional copies of these forms by accessing the following website –

Please note: Children in Year 2 and 3 will be playing NETTA (netsetgo) on the day
FEE:
$20 per competitor is required to enter the carnival – this fee includes one raffle ticket. This fee must
accompany the Registration and Payment Forms when being returned.
TEAMS:
We would ask that each school/team please:
Form their own teams with managers;
Provide their own umpires;
Source their own balls and bibs for the day
Please make sure all school equipment is correctly labeled
UMPIRES:
All umpires will be required to wear plain white t-shirts on the day. This will ensure they are easily
identifiable to players, parents and officials. Umpires will need to provide their own whistles.
The Mother Teresa School community is looking forward to hosting this exciting event, ensuring it will be a

Dear Parents and Carers,
Mother Teresa School is delighted to host the 2014 Catholic Primary Schools’ Netball
Carnival!
This year’s event will be held at Calwell Playing Fields, Were St, on Sunday 26 October
2014. The event will run from approximately 8.30 am – 3.30 pm.
Your child’s registration of $20 will include participation on the day, provision of a water
bottle, sunscreen and entry to an exciting raffle! Whilst there will be plenty of netball, there
will also be other activities on the day to keep the young at heart entertained - jumping
castles, a photo booth and other novelty events and activities. For your convenience, there
will also be food stalls selling a range of sweet and savoury items. Thank you for bringing
cash on the day.
To ensure your children are well fed and are able to keep their energy levels up, we will be
offering a pre-purchased “Food Voucher,” which will include a sausage sandwich, drink, a
piece of fruit, a bag of chips and a small snack.
While there will be several water refill centres around the grounds on the day, we strongly
recommend each child brings along plenty of additional water and a hat, for what could be a
warm day.
The annual Catholic Primary Schools’ Netball Carnival attracts participants from all over the
Archdiocese. It’s a great day and we encourage you to register eligible children through your
school’s sporting coordinator.

Food Vouchers
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the success of the food voucher system at other sporting events, also known as “Stars” or
“Helping Hands,” we are pleased to announce that “Food Vouchers” will again be available at this
year’s netball carnival! This food voucher is a pre-paid ticket which includes:





a sausage sandwich,
a drink,
a piece of fruit
a bag of chips
and a small treat
Each food voucher costs $5.00 and you are able to pre-purchase as many as you would like, so
remember the siblings! The voucher will be available for collection from your child’s team manager on
the day of the carnival.
To collect your food and drink parcel, you must present your voucher during the carnival. All items
will be available for collection from the one area and at the same time. If the food has not been
collected by 2pm, the food voucher is null and void.
To order your vouchers, please write the number required on your child’s soccer registration form and
return it to your school with the correct amount of money.
