Opening
Warm-up 15 minutes

5. Introduce the procedure how to rotate to next
station: learning center
6. Group the students into 4 small groups
Main Learning
Activities
(20 minutes = for each table at same times. )
Station # 1 = The teacher will tell the story of
moon Festival, the origin of Moon Cake, and
the Legends of Hou Yi and Chang E.
Station # 2: Food = The teacher will
demonstrate how to make moon cake and
decorate the moon cake with the character “月”,
which means moon in Chinese.
Station # 3 : Customs= The teacher will teach
moon Festival culture, along with its customs
around the world
Station # 4 : Craft = the dance /change and
houyi.
The teachers will give instructions to students
and help them do hand-made activites. (
different assignments according to the ages)
Station #1/ fact Grade K-2 will watch 3 videos and know “what,
when, who, how is the moon festival and learn
how to say moon cake and Mid Autumn festival

Grade 3-5 will watch 3 videos and know “what,

1. Present the productions in class
