3. How do I obtain Hardware Support?
Duration & Type
AV Media Systems will offer an on-site warranty service for hardware faults only, for three (3) years from the
date of delivery. The on-site service will be supplied only at DEECD business locations (schools or DEECD
offices).
Procedure for Obtaining Service
AV Media Systems Technical Support team is available from 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday. Please use 1 300
302 884 line dedicated to DEECD users to ensure you receive the best possible service: call 1 300 302 884
and quote serial number.

Any queries regarding the organisation of an on-site visit or a repair should be directed to the Direct Dispatch
Team between 9.00am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday on 1 300 302 884.
If you have any further queries following your initial call, contact the Direct Dispatch team on 1 300 302 884.
Service Levels
The on-site warranty service response will be Next Business Day for sites within a 50km radius from the
Melbourne GPO. Outside this area, on-site service will be available on the basis of a 72-hour response time.
Calls resulting in the organisation of on-site service that are logged after 3.00pm may be held over until 9.00am
on the following business day to allow for shipping of parts to a technician.
