What are the entry requirements for a CMI
qualification?
For levels 2 - 7 there are no formal qualifications
required, the level you undertake will depend
on your experience and job role. In most cases
you will already be a manager or leader with the
ability to apply the skills and experience learned
during your qualification.
Please note, Level 8 learners must hold a Level
7 or equivalent qualification and must hold/have
held a position in senior management for at least
3 years.

Which type of qualification should I take?
Length of study time will depend on the units you
choose to take and the delivery method. Learning
methods can differ between centres, however as
a rough guide:
