about CHOICE Humanitarian
CHOICE Humanitarian is a leadership organization that works in rural villages in Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Bolivia, Kenya and Nepal. Strong
local leadership means communities can develop their own vision and plan out of poverty. Our approach integrates five core areas: economic
development, health, education, environment and culture. Projects are used as tools to organize communities and mobilize resources to create
lasting change. In the end, it’s not about the project but about the process.
our partnership
The focus of the Christopherson/CHOICE partnership is to build a stronger community within the company and to work together for a common
cause. Christopherson will provide financial and human resources to assist those living in poverty to develop their own economic opportunities,
thus breaking the cycle out of poverty. Christopherson employees will have the opportunity to share their expertise and talents, both within the
company and in partnership with villagers across the globe.

Examples of such projects include assisting in the building of in-home
stoves in Guatemalan villages, assisting in the set-up and training
of goat cheese production in a Mexican community which in turn
provides individuals and families consistent jobs and sustainable
incomes, and helping a villager in Nepal set up a thriving computer
training program and electronic repair center for his community.
This trip will take place June 11-18, 2015 to Guatemala to assist the local
villages with starting new projects or assist with projects they have
underway. For employees interested in participating in an expedition,
