1) Call to Order- 1701 Hours
2) Roll Call
a) Late-T. Orlando
3) Action Item- Approval of the Agenda
Motion to approve agenda by L. Lewis, second by W. Filbeck, Motion passes with no
objection.
4) Action Items- Approval of the Minutes from 4/21/2010 Lewis/Baker
Motion to approve the agenda by K. Lewis, second by J. Baker, Motion passes with no
objection.
5) Public Forum
a) Alex Perl- There has been a lot of stolen items from the CMA auto shop and problems
with facilities.
6) New Business
a) Freshman and new officers positions
i)
New freshmen representative class packets to be assembled.
ii) New environmental officer and AS student assistant positions to be filled.
b) Club Packets
i)
Club packets to be out around September 15th 2010. Club packets to be
evaluated by the club committee.
c) Committees
i)
Board members are needed to help with campus committees.
d) Decide on a set meeting date/time
i)
ASCMA board meetings to be held every Wednesday at 1700 in the
Presidents Conference Room.
e) Faculty Rep
i)
Faculty Rep needed to be present at ASCMA board meetings. Dr. Clott,
Dr. Wheeler and Cpt. Steward are suggested.
f) Retreat
i)
This year’s retreat for the ASCMA board members was cancelled.
Looking for different and cheaper alternatives that would allow more than
just the board members to attend. Possible alternative locations could
be at a union hall such as the APL conference room, a trip to Scandia
and now that schools are in session there is the possibility of holding it at
a church camp retreat facility.

Two student assistant positions created to help out in the ASCMA
offices. Executive President to have one assistant, Chief of Staff to have
the other.

Voter Registration representative needed for our campus. 1,000 dollars
will be given to ASCMA from the CSSA for this establishment.
iii) Coastal clean up to be organized. Greatest number of club members
present at coastal clean up to receive additional funds towards the club
they represent. Date/time and additional details need to be set.
iv) ASCMA T-shirts to come. ASCMA Audit available to look at.
v) New ASCMA offices. Offices now located between the old ASCMA
offices and the Dean’s office. (Old Break Room)
vi) CSSA membership has been renewed for year.

Club packets to be completed and finalized.
Executive Vice President Finance - T. Nausid
i)
Talked to Susan F. to set up accounts for club presidents to view their
club’s finances.
Executive Chief of Staff – C. Manzano

Met with R. Earl to discuss grant for veteran’s affairs.

9) Auxiliary Reports
a) ACE- S. Sloughton
i)
First meeting to follow later this week. An additional meeting will be set
to discuss ACE finances with ASCMA EXEC’s.
b) ARC- J. Scott
i)
ARC has been cleaned and is now back up and running. A trip to obtain
new gear for ARC needs to be scheduled. New locks and additional
keys are needed for all members.
ii) Anticipated budget and schedule made.
iii) Get ARC email back up and running to better inform the students.
c) The Corps of Cadets
i)
Invitation to board meetings to be sent.
d) Housing
i)
Invitation to board meetings to be sent.

a) Publications Committee
i)
Yearbook placed under review. Alternatives have been suggested such
as a photo book.-S. Connelly
