Serve the City 2017
This event is a city wide event that partners with organizations in
the city to help give an extra hand and do something very special
for chosen businesses. The event day is April 1 and is an all-day
event. We are inviting other Christian churches in the city to join
us in blessing Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home which is our
business of choice. ACCH has served Albuquerque for over 40
years helping hundreds of children from situations of hopelessness
to a life of hope! We will have two shifts on April 1, one in the
morning and one in the afternoon with a big barbecue for lunch
that will be served to all the organizations doing Serve The City
projects that day. This event pulls in thousands of workers each
year and we are excited to be a part of Serve The City this year.
Our projects at ACCH are going to be a series of landscaping
projects.
1. Clean out play area and add sand.
2. Clean and level and add crusher fine/lay brick for bike parking
area.
3. Excavate Irrigation/ Sprinkler System
4. Other family friendly oriented projects..
You can participate by either giving financially now and/or register
to participate on line which begins today. You can also sign up at
the Neighborhood Connections table in the lobby or on our App
(FCCABQ) under Connect/Neighborhood Connections/ Serve the
City. A step by step help guide can be found at the table in the
Lobby. This will be BIG. We will expect most of FCC to show up for
this day in some capacity so save the day, April 1, today! Should
