Guidelines to making a Safety Rule Change in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport Safety Rules can be submitted at any stage throughout the year and are treated with urgency Club or Commissioner to submit proposed rule change on prescribed form to the MNZ Office MNZ Office to circulate the proposed rule change for approval Rules Appraisal Committee shall assess if any conflict might exist between the proposed rule and existing rules Commissioner accepts the proposed rule change Commissioner modifies the proposed rule change Commissioner rejects the proposed rule change MNZ Board to ratify the final proposed rule change Commissioner sends to the modified proposed rule to MNZ Office Rule change placed on MNZ website to become effective immediately The following must be supplied with a request for Board review: Rule Changes Letter from Club on letter head requesting the Board review Copy of minutes from the Club Committee meeting in which it was agreed to submit the proposed rule change Copy of minutes from the Club Committee meeting on which it was agreed to request a Board review of the proposed rule change The proposer is advised via the MNZ Office The proposer requests a Board review of the declined proposed rule change via the MNZ Office The Board ratifies the proposed rule change The Board declines the proposed rule change The Club gives notice of a members direction as per the MNZ Constitution 5.3.2 How to make a Safety Rule Change – Flow Chart Updated: October 2015
