How do we play?

1. Using the cones, set up a playing area similar to that above. Get every student to put on a black Velcro belt and get every student to put on a
coloured tag. Get them to place the coloured tag on their right hip so that everyone has a tag in the same position. Ensure students do not wrap
it around the Velcro belt or tuck it into their shorts. One student is without a coloured tag and their job is to steal anyone else’s tag. They only
need one tag so when they have one tag, the person without a tag is the new tagger. There are no tag backs and no one is safe while they are
trying to put a tag back on. It is a continuous game and the students have to learn to put their tag on whilst on the run.
PLAY FOR POINTS
1. Each person puts on a tag it doesn’t matter what colour. They place the tag on their front right hip and that is where it will remain until someone
steals it. The aim of the game it to get the highest amount of points in 2 minutes (which means you can get as many tags as you can and there is
no fending off others). A red tag = 4 points. A Blue tag = 3 points, A Yellow tag = 2 points and A Green tag = 1 point.
TEAM COLOURS
1. This is a team game. Split the class into 4 even teams (red, blue, yellow & green) and get them to put on the appropriate coloured tag. The aim
of the game is to steal anyone’s tag except those who were in your team to begin with (get the students to have a good look at their team
members at the beginning of the game).The last person with their tag on is the winner for their team. For example – If Sam is the last person left
in the game and he has a red tag on, that means the red team gain a point. Get everyone back with their original tag on and restart the game.
When one team scores a total of 3 points, the game will end completely. This may happen if the red team won the first three games in a row.
Once you lose your tag move to the sideline and if you steal a tag from somebody else throw it back into the box in the middle of the playing
area and they will have to head to the sideline..
