Product Adjustment
Second dynamic tick regime for FTSE 100 Index securities
Product(s):
Service Announcement 001/170709 issued on 17 July 2009 notified customers of
a number of FTSE 100 securities being placed on static price format codes
equivalent to the tick sizes in FESE Table 1. The Exchange will now be
introducing SET0 to enable a dynamic FESE Table 1 price format schedule to
apply to this subset of FTSE 100 securities.


Segment SET0 will include 5 new sectors equivalent to those in the current SET1
segment and will follow the same trading schedule. The existing 12 FTSE 100
index securities that are currently on the FESE Table 1 tick regime will be
migrated to SET0 on CDS with effect from Tuesday 25 August 2009.

Live, with effect from Monday 21 September 2009, will be notified by a further
Service Announcement. It should be noted that all residual orders will be
automatically deleted immediately before a security is migrated from SET1 to
SET0.
Details of SET0 sector structure (including thresholds), dynamic price format
schedule and the initial securities available on CDS are set out in Appendix A.
Four new SETSqx sectors
Four new sectors are being created to facilitate greater flexibility for trading and
quoting of non-centrally cleared London listed, EURM and Admission to Trading
only securities. SQSL, SQNL and SQEL will be added to segment SSX3 and
sector SXSN will be added to SSX4. Securities to be migrated to these sectors
will be notified in the standard way through the Exchange’s reference data
service, Datasync.
