Paper-based screener / level checkers for English, maths and ICT
We’re delighted to enclose a set of new paper based level checkers or skills screener tests
originally developed and tested by Guroo and now enhanced and improved by ForSkills for use
as a pre-recruitment, application or screening tool.
Learners or applicants typically take just a few minutes to complete them. The papers are very
easy to mark (we supply marking guidelines) and the results give you a good indication of the
learner/applicants ability in maths, English and ICT from Entry Levels to Level 2. They are widely
used by training providers and were, in fact, designed in consultation with several of the UK’s
leading training and recruitment providers, so we know they work well.
The best news of all is that they are now available or both licenced* customers of ForSkills and
Guroo as well as the wider market. Currently licenced customers can simply photocopy the ones
we’ve sent to you or you can buy them from us for just 30p each. Non-customers are NOT
licenced to copy them but can buy them from us at the same price – just 30p each.
At just 30p each, for a well-designed, full-colour, four-page A4 booklet, almost all our customers
find that buying them from us is the most effective and efficient method. We supply tens of
thousands and that’s why we are able to keep the price low and stocks high. What’s more,
there’s no VAT to pay and delivery by next day service is free for orders over £100 and we will
ship to multiple locations on request.
