Adding Players to Roster

HOW TO ADD PLAYERS TO YOUR ROSTER
The system does not distinguish what fields are required for a
player to be sent the “Confirmation Code”. The required fields look
to be:

First and Last Name (as listed in the system)
Birthdate (as listed in the system)
Email address (not a duplicate but proprietary)
Mobile Phone Number (must be cell number)
New players to the system will still need State Director approval. A
copy of the player’s driver’s license along with their phone number
and email address are required to be sent to the State Director.
The State Director will do a search then add the player.
When a player is ADDED to the roster by the Manager, the player
will then receive an EMAIL notifying them they have been added to
the roster. If they DO NOT HAVE A PLAYER ACCOUNT setup
on www.usssa.com they will then receive a VALIDATION CODE via
text message. TELL YOUR PLAYERS TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT
FOR THIS AND DO NOT REPLY STOP TO THIS UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
After each player receives the Validation Code, they will then need
to go to USSSA.com, click “Slowpitch” and on the Team Home
page in Blue, enter the Code and Phone Number (same Mobile/Cell
Number) as the coach provided. Each player must key in the exact
information and follow instructions precisely.
Once a player is logged in they will first need to accept the current
year player waiver electronically. Failure to do this will prevent them
from being added to ANY roster.
Then the player will be able to review their profile and make any
changes to their personal information.
Once this is done, the player can view their individual player locker.
Player’s roster history can be seen on the ROSTER HISTORY tab.
If a player is RELEASED from one team during the 2017 season
and ADDED to another team, they DO NOT need to receive another
text code. They will ONLY need to login to their player account and
approve their addition to the new roster.
It is recommended that players use Chrome or Firefox to access the
website.
