FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM FAQS
WHAT IS THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM?
The ABIA Frequent Parker Program is a fully automated rewards program for
individuals that park on-site for business and leisure trips to earn you points for FREE
parking.
IS THERE A CHARGE TO JOIN THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM?
No, membership is free and there is no charge for the ABIA Frequent Parker Program
Card.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM?
Any individual who parks on-site at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) can
join the ABIA Frequent Parker Program. Membership is FREE. The more you park onsite, the more points you will accrue for FREE parking.
HOW THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM WORKS:
Members are assigned an ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card, which is securely
linked to the member’s credit or debit card.
ENTERING THE PARKING FACILITY
When you enter, simply swipe your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card at any lot
entrance and the gate will go up. Do NOT pull a ticket.
EXITING THE PARKING FACILITY
Upon your travel return, exit on-site parking through the credit card express lanes.
Swipe your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card at the automated exit lanes. The
machines will apply the charge to your credit card on file and the gate will go up. The
ABIA Frequent Parker Program System will automatically record your time in and out,
charge the credit or debit card on file and credit your account with ABIA Frequent
Parker Program points that can be redeemed for FREE Parking.
Please read below for instructions on how to obtain a receipt.
*You cannot use your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card to exit a cashier lane.
As a member you earn 20 points per dollar spent in any of the Austin-Bergstrom Airport
parking facilities.

HOW THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM ONLINE ACCOUNT WORKS:
When you registered online for your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card, you created
an online profile with a username and password. The credit or debit card on file will be
charged and you will automatically earn points for your parking stay. Login to your
account 24/7 at www.abiaparking.com to view your parking activity, update your
information, access a receipt or redeem the ABIA Frequent Parker Program points you
have accumulated!
I’VE BEEN PARKING AT ABIA FOR A LONG TIME AND JUST BECAME AWARE OF
THE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM. CAN I RECEIVE CREDIT FOR PAST
PARKING STAYS?
Unfortunately, no. The ABIA Frequent Parker Program is set-up so that points can only
be accumulated from the day a member receives their ABIA Frequent Parker Program
Card. No retroactive points can be given.
HOW DO I REDEEM MY POINTS FOR FREE PARKING?
Simply login to your ABIA Frequent Parker
Program account at www.abiaparking.com, click the Rewards tab, and select the facility
and date for which you would like to redeem.
NOTE: You must enter the parking facility with your ABIA Frequent Parker Program
Card on the first day which you selected for point redemption, or the system will not
recognize your redemption and credit your account. If you return later than the date
selected, you will still be credited for your parking stay and the system will automatically
charge the credit card on file for the difference. Parking redemptions are based on
calendar days not on time in/time out.

each facility:

Over-Flow Lots – no Frequent Parker Program readers available at this time.
Upon parking, simply enter and exit the garage or lot in order to have the credit applied
to your account. Your ABIA Frequent Parker Program account will automatically credit
your stay and your credit card will not be charged for the days you have redeemed for
free parking. There are no certificates to present.
*ABIA Frequent Parker Program points are not earned on days FREE parking
redemptions are used. Points are only earned on days of paid parking. This free parking
redemption does not reserve a space in the parking facilities. If you arrive and the
facility you want to park in is full, you must park in an alternate facility and the free
parking redemption must be used on another day. Please contact us
at [email protected] to have the redemption points added back into your
account.
POINTS EXPIRATION
ABIA Frequent Parker Program points expire twelve (12) months from the date they are
earned. The oldest active point balance is applied first to a parking redemption.
HOW DO I CANCEL A PARKING REDEMPTION OR VIEW PREVIOUS PARKING
REDEMPTIONS MADE?
First, login to your Frequent Parker Program account and select “Activity”.
Under the View Activity box at the top, select the arrow for the drop down under
“Activity”.
Highlight Parking Redemption.
Click on the Green arrow to the right of the box.
You will then be able to see a list of current and previous parking redemptions.
Parking redemptions can only be canceled or modified PRIOR to entering the parking
facility for your scheduled parking redemption. Once you are parked, you cannot modify
the parking redemption (i.e. add additional days)
If your parking redemption has not yet occurred and you wish to cancel it, simply select
“Cancel” next to the redemption. In order to modify an existing redemption, you must
first cancel the redemption and then go back to the “Rewards” tab to make a new
parking redemption.
I AM HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT. WHO CAN I CONTACT FOR
HELP?
If you are unable to login to your account due to a forgotten user name or password,
please try the following: Please note that usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
1. Username error – If you are still unsuccessful,
email [email protected] with your request and first and last name. A
representative will email you with the correct user name on file.
2. Password – If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password”
function on the login screen to have it emailed to you. Your password will be
reset to a computer generated code that you will be able to use to login. Once
you have logged in to your account, you can reset your password.
3. If you are still having trouble logging in using the correct username and a new
computer generated password, close out the page and enter the login page
through www.abiaparking.com (do not use a bookmark to re-access the page).
By doing this you will clear out any extra characters that may have been put into
the login fields. These are extra characters like spaces that happen from copying
and pasting and that we can’t always see but the computer recognizes. You can
also put your cursor in the user name or password fields and hit the delete button
a few times to make sure it has been completely cleared.
HOW CAN I UPDATE MY INFORMATION?
If your credit card expires or incorrect information was provided, your ABIA Frequent
Parker Program Card will not be valid upon exiting. To update your credit card, as well
as other information such as name, address or car model, login to your account and
click “Edit” to update your information.
CAN FAMILY MEMBERS LINK OR SHARE AN ACCOUNT?
No. An ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card is for each member’s sole use. There is
only one ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card issued per person. Points are nontransferrable.
CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE CREDIT CARDS ON MY ACCOUNT?
Yes, users can have up to two credit cards on their ABIA Frequent Parker Program
account; however, only one can be active. It is up to the account user to switch credit
cards before exiting the ABIA parking facility.
I USED THE CREDIT CARD THAT I HAVE ON MY ABIA FREQUENT PARKER
PROGRAM ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR PARKING, BUT THE ACTIVITY AND POINTS
WERE NOT ON MY ACCOUNT. WHAT HAPPENED?
You can only use your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card for ABIA Frequent Parker
Program points and activity. Your credit card cannot be used in lieu of your ABIA
Frequent Parker Program Card.
I HAVE MULTIPLE ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM ACCOUNTS. CAN I SHARE
THE POINTS THAT I EARNED BETWEEN THESE ACCOUNTS?
Yes, the ABIA Frequent Parker Program administrator can manually move points to and
from multiple accounts. Please contact the administration office

I USED THE CREDIT CARD THAT I HAVE ON MY ABIA FREQUENT PARKER
PROGRAM ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR PARKING, BUT THE ACTIVITY AND POINTS
WERE NOT ON MY ACCOUNT. WHAT HAPPENED?
You can only use your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card for ABIA Frequent Parker
Program points and activity. Your credit card cannot be used in lieu of your ABIA
Frequent Parker Program Card.
CAN I USE MY ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM CARD TO PARK VEHICLES
OTHER THAN THE ONE I HAVE LISTED ON MY ACCOUNT?
Yes. Your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card is not tied to the vehicle listed on your
account. However, you cannot park more than one vehicle at a time per ABIA Frequent
Parker Program account.
WHAT DO THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES MEAN?
If you receive an error message or have any question regarding your ABIA Frequent
Parker Program Card or account, please contact the ABIA Frequent Parker Program
administrator by calling (512) 530-3770 or by email at [email protected].
Error Messages Displayed:




If you swiped your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card and the screen says
“unreadable”, your access card’s magnetic strip did not remain in contact with the
reader. Please try swiping your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card again and
keep the card in contact with the reader.
If you swiped your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card and the screen says
“Access Card Group”, your access card is out of sequence. If your card is out of
sequence, you will need to contact the parking office by calling (512) 530-3770 or
by emailing [email protected].
If you swiped your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card and the screen says
“Processing”, the reader may be re-setting itself and the gate will open within 1-2
minutes.
If you swiped your ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card and the screen says
“Credit Card Declined”, the credit card you attached to your ABIA Frequent
Parker Program Card is not receiving authorization. Please contact the ABIA
Frequent Parker Program Administration by calling 512-530-3770 or by
emailing [email protected].
WHAT DO I DO IF I LOSE MY ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM CARD?
Email us at [email protected] or call (512) 530-3770 to deactivate your old ABIA
Frequent Parker Program Card and order a replacement.
MY ABIA FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM CARD WAS DENIED ACCESS WHEN
TRYING TO EXIT, WHAT DO I DO?
Please check to make sure that the credit or debit card information on file is up-to-date.
If it is not, update the information immediately.
A representative from SP+ will contact you to rectify the account. Once the account is
cleared, the points from that stay will be added to your account.
For your protection and with PCI compliance laws (credit cards), we are unable to take
your credit card information over the phone or through email. Members must login to
their account and update credit card information.
HOW CAN I PRINT A RECEIPT FROM MY ACCOUNT?
1. Log into your online account and select “Activity”. This report will show all of your
parking activity.
2. Select the “Receipt” link next to the transaction you wish to print. A pop-up
window will come up with your detailed transaction. If this window does not
appear, double check to make sure your computer setting is set to “Allow PopUps”.
3. Select Print. If the print button doesn’t work you may try the following
options:

Select CTRL + P on your keyboard

Go to the top of the web browser page and select File then Print

Highlight the text in the Receipt window, copy and then paste into a Word
document. Select Print.

At the top of your keyboard to the far right of the “F” keys there is a button
“Print Screen”. Press this button, open a blank word document, right click on
the document and select “Paste”. Select Print.

FREQUENT PARKER PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
The program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time
as Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) decides to terminate it, with or without
notice. Members will have six months from the termination date is announced to use
any accumulated points. This means that regardless of the amount you participate in
the program, your right to accumulate points and claim rewards can be terminated.
ABIA Frequent Parker Program members can login to their account at any time to
update their profile, update debit/credit card information, check point balances or
redeem for FREE parking. Retro-active credit (credit for parking stays prior to
enrollment date) will not be issued to new or existing program participants.
ABIA Frequent Parker Program points expire twelve (12) months from the date they are
earned. The oldest active point balance is applied first to a parking redemption.
An ABIA Frequent Parker Program account that has no parking or redemption activity
for 18 months will be considered inactive and the member will be requested to return
their ABIA Frequent Parker Program Card to:

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport reserves the right to add, modify, delete or
otherwise change any of the rules, procedures, conditions or benefits pertaining to the
program at its sole discretion, with or without notice, even though changes may affect
the value of points already accumulated. Parking Operator Employees are strictly
prohibited from participation in the ABIA Frequent Parker Program.
