Location: Debrecen, Hungary
Environment: gem has been operational for 8 years in the UK. We have been
operational in Debrecen, Hungary since August 2008. This is a contact centre – during
working hours employees will be using a computer and telephone equipment. Our dress
code is relaxed and we value the respect of others. We have a comfortable break area.

ROLE:
The key role of the Cisco Systems outbound team is to generate high quality commercial
sales leads, which in turn will create an opportunity for Cisco or an official Cisco reseller to generate revenue through selling one or more Cisco products. Due to the sheer
volume and quality of leads that we can generate we have proven ourselves to be a key
component in Cisco’s commercial model.
As an agent representing Cisco Systems your main aim is to build relationships with
existing and future companies, as well as the client. The work will consists mainly of
outbound cold calling, with some inbound calls and reporting/administrative tasks.
You will be expected to make at least 100 calls per day, and out of that to aim to
achieve at least 3 leads per day. You will be expected to handle a certain volume of
inbound calls, where the aim will be to assess the customers needs, and subsequently
generate leads as well.
In order to help you do your job well you will be given training on Cisco and their
products as well as training on outbound selling skills. On going training and
development is important with all our agents and this is recognised and co-ordinated by
your Sales Manager and our training department.
We offer an attractive base salary of 200,000 HUF per month plus a performance related
bonus. Bonus is based on generating leads and the productive work practices associated
with generating leads (i.e. dial rate etc).
We do our best to keep the environment as highly charged and motivated as possible
through the running of incentives and reward and recognition programmes. Incentives
are on-going and run on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Agents are also presented with an opportunity to attain certain Cisco accreditation and
certificates as well as a career development pathway.










Fluent language skills in Czech with English
Self-motivated – high personal drive to succeed, interest in selftraining/development.
Sales orientated – ability to assess customer’s needs and capture leads.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Ability to learn about new products during training – self education.
Previous experience in IT.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets.
Ability to deal with rejection.
Drive and determination to succeed and grow with the business.
SALARY
1,153 HUF/hour Gross (Approx. 200,000 HUF Gross per month) plus 10% bonus awarded if
targets met (equivalent to approx. 220,000 HUF total gross per month)
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
Full Time: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday.
Candidates must be available for operational hours. You will work 8 hours within
business hours of depending on the market (Czech Republic) and will have 1 hour of
unpaid breaks each day. Your rota will be provided at least 2 weeks in advance.
This position is based in a contact centre environment. You will be working with a
computer and telephone for 8 hours per day. On your first day there will be a medical
assessment provided by gem to make sure there are no issues of you working in this
environment.
PROBATION
There is a 3month probationary period before confirmation of your contract status
TRAINING/INDUCTION
Training is provided and will consist of acquiring product knowledge, how Cisco operates
as a company, technical knowledge required for the position, as well as selling skills.
Training will be for 1 week.
RELOCATION
For those that are relocating, we offer an attractive relocation package. Flights will be
reimbursed up to the cost of 150 Euro and on arrival we accommodate the first 4 nights
stay in a city centre bed and breakfast. We have a relocation adviser within gem who
will offer ongoing help and assistance until you get settled. We offer help in opening up
bank accounts, applying for National Insurance numbers and Accommodation.
