Students of JSSPS win two prizes in “Technovanza 2017”
at Manipal University, Dubai
“Technovanza 2017”, was a two days Inter-University and Inter-School
technical festival organized by “Manipal University, Dubai” on 27th of April
2017. The objective of the program was to provide a platform for young minds to
unleash their creative talents in the field of Science & Technology.
“Technovanza 2017” was absolutely fabulous. There were almost 15events
to be participated by 8 different schools from Dubai and Sharjah. 22 Students from
grade 10, 11 and 12 from JSS PS participated in the event. All the participants
were thrilled to be a part of this spectacular event. Every student had to work a lot
for the event they were participating.
Our School won two prizes at the event. Atul Vinay and Rohan Nandakumar
achieved I position for ‘Trackmania’ with cash prize, certificates and momento
for school. Rohan and Amrit bagged the II position for “Who Knows” with gift
vouchers, certificates and momento for school.
These prizes motivated all the students who participated to take part in other
events. We the students of JSSPs did not back out from any events. We had an
immense amount of
exposure and were able
to interact with
different kinds of
people and were able to
have very memorable
experiences. We were
able to step into the
institution victoriously.
The teams wouldn’t have been able to reach this position without the
guidance of Mrs. Rajeswari, Mrs. Gincy George, Mrs. Greeshma Gopal and the
entire IT Department. We look forward into opening more doors and keep our
schools head high in the air standing proudly and victoriously.
