1. As a participant in the Competitions, I declare that I will respect (and have respected during the 3x3 season) the spirit of fair play, clean game and
non-violence in any discipline governed by FIBA, and will behave (and have behaved during the 3x3 season) accordingly on and off the court.
I also agree to comply with the FIBA (Fédération Internationale de Basketball, Route Suisse, 5, PO Box 29, 1295 Mies, Switzerland) Code of
Ethics (Book 1, Chapter III of the FIBA Internal Regulations, available for download at www.fiba.com) and with the FIBA Code of Conduct and Fair
Play (Book 2, Chapter VIII of the FIBA Internal Regulations, available for download at www.fiba.com). In particular, I will not participate in, support
or promote betting activities related to the Competitions. I further agree that third parties may transfer to FIBA information pertaining to betting
activities in relation to the Competitions.
2. I agree that if I violate clause 1. above, FIBA may sanction me in accordance with Book 1, Chapters III, VI and VII of the FIBA Internal Regulations
(available for download at www.fiba.com), deduct part or all of my Ranking points, exclude me from the Competitions and/or provisionally or
permanently exclude me from https://play.fiba.3x3.com depending on the seriousness of the violation. In addition, the 3x3 Sports Director (or his
delegate, if any) may decide whether any game in which the violation occurred shall be forfeited and whether I (personally or along with my team)
shall be banned from further participation in the event in which the violation occurred. Within 1 hour after I have been notified of any such
decision, I shall have the right to appeal to the 3x3 Managing Director (or his delegate, if any). In either case, I shall have a right to be heard
before a decision is made.
3. I declare that I have read and understood the FIBA Anti-Doping rules currently in force (Book 4 of the FIBA Internal Regulations, available for
download at www.fiba.com). I agree to comply with all such rules and I herewith accept the jurisdiction of the bodies referred to therein. I agree to
submit to the doping control tests (including out of competition tests by FIBA, WADA or any organisation commissioned by FIBA ), to accept the
results of such tests and to abide by the respective regulations as applicable from time to time. I agree that my National Federation may forward
my personal data to FIBA for use in connection with doping control tests, results management and disciplinary proceedings. I have read and
understood the players’ information notice regarding doping-control related data (available for download at www.fiba.com) and hereby consent to
the processing of my personal data in accordance with the applicable anti-doping regulations.
4. I acknowledge and agree that:
a. I will observe the official 3x3 Rules of the Game (available for download at http://fiba3x3.com), and be subject to any other rules or regulations
applicable to the Competitions in which I participate (e.g. the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Competiti on Regulations);
b. I participate in the Competitions at my own risk and that I will take all reasonable measures to protect myself from the risks of participation;
c. I am responsible for all property I bring into the Competitions; and
d. I am responsible for obtaining medical and general liability insurance (if any) covering my participation in the Competitions. I understand that
neither FIBA nor the Local Organising Committees (“LOCs”) will contract any such insurance for me.
5. I acknowledge and agree that while the Competitions are a framework provided by FIBA, the events which the Competitions comprise are
organised under the exclusive responsibility of the LOCs.
6. I hereby irrevocably release FIBA (and its respective members, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors or agents) from
any liability (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss, injury or damage that I may suffer in relation to my participati on in the Competitions.
7. In consideration of the acceptance of my participation in the Competitions and of the benefits linked thereto, I hereby agree
a. to be filmed, televised, photographed, identified and otherwise recorded on the occasion of the Competitions. I acknowledge FIBA’s right to
use such material as detailed in the Terms and Conditions of https://play.fiba.3x3.com (a link to which can be found on every webpage of
https://play.fiba.3x3.com) to which I herewith agree; this includes potential use of my name, likeness, autograph and other identifying
characteristics in e-games.
b. if I participate in the 3x3 World Tour and/or the All Stars, to wear at all times from head to toe in these two competitions only the apparel
provided to me free of charge by FIBA (the “Apparel”). This obligation does not extend to shoes. I understand that I am not e ntitled to wear in
these two competitions any other apparel (except for shoes) and that I am not allowed to place on the Apparel any trade name, trademark,
mark, logo or any other identification of any person, company or other business entity.
c. to not display any temporary or permanent tattoo that conveys a commercial message (other than those specifically permitted under the
applicable Competition regulations) and/or can reasonably be interpreted as being obscene or otherwise contrary to FIBA's values as
enshrined in the FIBA Code of Ethics (Book 1, Chapter III of the FIBA Internal Regulations, available for download at www.fiba.com). I will not
be allowed to play unless any such tattoo is covered in its entirety.
8. I hereby waive any right to prize money and any such prize money shall go to the International Basketball Foundation to the extent that
a. I am subject to rules – contractual, statutory or otherwise – which prohibit me from being paid prize money for the Competitions (e.g. because
I have “amateur” status); or
b. I fail to cash in the prize money within 1 month after I have been provided with the respective cheque, promissory note or the like.
9. I agree that FIBA, as administrator of https://play.fiba.3x3.com, may update or complete my profile on https://play.fiba.3x3.com with respect to
date of birth, height, weight, apparel and shoe size, photo, nationality and city/country of residence.
10. I agree that this Entry Form and any obligations and disputes arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with Swiss law without regard to its conflict of law rules. I agree that any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection
with this Entry Form, the Competitions and/or any other 3x3 competition shall be submitted exclusively to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
and resolved definitively in accordance with the Code of sports-related arbitration. The arbitration shall be governed by Chapter 12 of the Swiss
Act on Private International Law (if I am domiciled in Switzerland I waive the application of the third part of the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure) and
its seat shall be in Lausanne, Switzerland. The language of the arbitration will be English. I shall not and I hereby waive my right to institute any
claim, arbitration or litigation, or seek any other form of relief, including provisional measures, in any other court or tribunal.
11. I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the Competitions is conditional upon my valid acceptance of and my compliance with each and
every provision of this E ntry Form.
