About Children’s rights…
We want to understand what “children’s rights” means.
We talk about it in circle time; we read stories, sing songs, look
at images and videos.
Then we draw, invent, work together…
Article 6
Every child has the inherent right to life
Article 7
A child has the right from birth to a name
Article 9
A child will not be separated from his or
her parents
Article 24
Right of the child to the enjoyment of the highest
attainable standard of health
Article 31
Right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in
play and recreational activities
Understanding the right to play: first we tell the story of
Nadem, an african boy forced to work
We talk about the story and we work on it
We work in pairs, then we show the others our masterpieces
We listen to a song while watching the cartoon …
so we dance and sing
We rapresent the denied right to play
One day we invite a grandmother of ours to tell us
about the games she played when she was young
then we try to reproduce some of the old games
and we play them
We enjoyed to act the “school play” too…
Now we know:
playing is the
best thing to
do when you
are a child!
So, we are happy to go on learning
our rights and taking part in
Erasmus+ Project!
