June Newsletter 2017
Dear Parents,
Summer is officially here and with that comes long hot days. The children love to play outside as well as do the
teachers. We will have water play every Tuesday for the children to enjoy. The older children will be taking
field trips to fun area attractions.
Our summer program offers fun activities for your child in a more relaxed atmosphere. The teachers have
many fun ideas for the children to explore the many concepts of reading, singing, finger plays, and painting
and art projects this summer.
Sunscreen permission slips need to be filled out prior to us being able to apply sunscreen to your child. We ask
that you send in your child with their sunscreen already applied with an eight hour type in the morning. We
will re-apply a coat after lunch before their second outside time.
Water play will be every Tuesday during the morning playground time. Please make sure everything is labeled
with first and last names.
Mighty kicks soccer will be her Monday June 5th to do a demo class for children 3 and up. If you want to sign
up go their website.
Please know we are here to help in any way possible to make you and your child’s time with us comfortable. If
you need any thing please let us knows and we will do everything possible to accommodate you and your
family’s needs.

Welcome Summer!
Summer is an exciting time at Kids Town! To help our babies enjoy the warm weather we may occasionally
take them for walks around the neighborhood. Please make sure your child has proper sun protection (hats,
sunscreen, long sleeves/pants) since we don’t want any little lobsters in our class.
June is the beginning of our summer program, and we will start water play on June 20st. Water play will be
held every Tuesday. Since we will have so many friends to play with, we will be playing in our baby swimmers
diapers no bathing suits. Please also bring in sun screen for your child if you have not already. Besides water
play, we have a ton of other sensory activities planned for this month, so make sure to sign any permission
slips. Thank you.
Room 3
This month our activities will be focusing on summer crafts. The children will be making summer foods out of
paper, animals, water activities, and identify the animal.
We will also start water play outside this month! The children will need the following items to participate:
 Swim Diaper, swimsuit, towel, extra pair of shoes that can get wet, and a bag for wet clothing
You are more than welcome to send your child dressed in their swim attire, besides the swim diaper. Our
classroom is one of the first rooms to go outside.

Welcome to Summer!! This month we will focus on all things summer. Our theme will be "The Beach" and we
will focus on many different crafts and activities involving water, sand and different types of fish. Also, toward
the end of the month we will begin our weekly waterplay day. You are welcomed to send your child to school
in their swim attire. I will be sure to send reminder once we get closer to that date. Also, if you would like
sunscreen applied before our outside time, please send in a bottle of sunscreen and see any room for teacher
for a sunscreen form. ROOM 4 IS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SUMMER!!!

It is hard to believe that the end of the year is here! The month of June we will do different activities and
crafts learning about things we can do in the summer. We will do cooking crafts, food tasting, and talk about
summer vacations. This month we will also participate in water play. The children will need a towel,
sunscreen, swimming attire, swimming shoes, and a changing pair of clothes and shoes. Please feel free to
dress them in their swimming clothes.
It has been my pleasure working with a wonderful group of children. They have learned a lot and they are all
ready to move to the next classroom with excitement. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your
support throughout the year!

Hello everyone! Summer is quickly approaching, and so is the end of the school year! Soon these amazing kids
will be off to Kindergarten! We will miss them so much! Let’s make this an amazing last few weeks together!
June 16th will be our last day together! Starting on June 20th the kids will be in their new classrooms!
Sunscreen!
If you have not already done so, please bring in a bottle of sunscreen for your child! You will also need to fill
out a form! Please see one of us if you have any questions!
Clothing!
Please make sure that the children are dressed appropriately for the weather!
Girls must wear shorts under their skirts or dresses!
Water play will be every Tuesday starting on: June 20 th!

Hello Room 7! It's crazy to think that we are officially in our last few weeks with one another – but let's make
sure we end the school year and begin summer on a fun note! This month, we have a few dates to keep in mind
before everyone moves up and into their new classrooms!
June 4th: Mya's birthday
June 8th: Jackson's birthday
June 8th: Conferences for Room 7 – these conferences are not mandatory, but if you would like to sign-up for a
time the sheet is on the inside of the door!
June 20th: The student's will officially move into their new classrooms!
June 20th: The first day of water play for the summer! Please make sure your child brings all their necessary
supplies to participate!

Summer is here! We are excited for summer! The children in room 8 will be relocating to classroom 4 right
across the hall beginning Monday June 19th. Every Tuesday beginning June 20th we will have water play.
Please make sure everything is labeled and sunscreen forms have been filled out.
