Depart by coach to Bakubung Bush Lodge, where the group will stay for 3 nights on a full board basis.

Late afternoon, depart on a Game Drive
•
Return to the Lodge and enjoy dinner.
DAY 2, 14 AUG, PILANESBERG
•
Depart on an early morning game drive in an open Game vehicle.
•
On return to the Lodge, enjoy a hearty breakfast

Mid afternoon depart on Game Drive
•
After the game driver return to the loge and enjoy dinner.
DAY 3, 15 AUG, PILANESBERG

Depart on an early morning game drive in an open Game vehicle.

On return enjoy a hearty breakfast in the Lodge.

Late afternoon depart on another Game Drive
•
Return to the Lodge to enjoy dinner.
DAY 4, 16 AUG, PILANESBERG / JOHANNESBURG

Group enjoys a leisurely breakfast before they depart for the return journey by coach to OR Tambo
International Airport to connect with your homebound flight.

Tour terminated on arrival at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

HOTEL DESCRIPTION
BAKUBUNG BUSH LODGE
•
Concealed in the rich expanses of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, Bakubung, or “People of the Hippo”,
offers you everything you need to get in touch with the bush, where the Big Five roam freely.
•
All rooms either have two double beds or one king size bed, en suite bathroom, including a shower, air conditioner,
direct dial telephone, tea/coffee machine, colour TV (with DStv bouquet), a hairdryer, plug for electric shaver and
internet connectivity. All hotel rooms have doors leading onto either a balcony or a patio, and have panoramic views
of the Park and the Hippo Pool.

The Bakubung restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seating is indoors on the cooler days or on the
terrace overlooking the game park on warmer days.
•
The swimming pool is located next to the cocktail bar, guests may enjoy a delicious drink or meal either in the shade
of the bar or by the poolside for the sun lovers.
Safari
The team of a knowledgeable guides and intuitive trackers will do their utmost to ensure you see a broad
spectrum of this balanced ecosystem. Highlights might include prides of lions, parades of elephants, crashes of
white rhinos, herds of buffaloes, dazzles of zebras, clans of hyenas, harems of impalas, journeys of giraffes,
businesses of mongooses, cheetah, a glimpse of wild dogs, baboons trooping past the vehicles – to mention just
a few!
When the sun is setting we stop for a drink and some snacks at a nice view point before returning to the lodge.
