INSTRUCTIONS FOR FORMS:
 This type in Word Document form, is designed to make it easier for you to place your team nominations.
 To see form clearly when opened, you may need to switch to “View Print Layout”.
 To enter information simply place curser in highlighted area and begin typing.
 It is best to fill in form and then save any individual team forms to your computer, as say
“teamname2017S1.doc”, or whatever you choose.
 If you then open a new email, insert all your saved team forms and send to both the Association
Secretary and the Grading Committee as required.
Or even better scan all forms into one document and send to (Email addresses below.)

Teams are to supply an Umpire capable of umpiring at the Grade of the team nominated.
Umpire must umpire your own game, or arrange to “swap”, with another team playing at an opposing time slot.
Umpire is required to be available for all games, minor rounds and finals except for byes and forfeits.
Finals matches will be allocated neutral Umpires.
It is the responsibility of the teams to supply an Umpire each week and it is not the Umpiring Co-ordinators duty to fill a
vacancy.
Players can only play for 1 registered club. ( i.e. If Lobethal has an S1 grade and an S2 grade, a player can play for either
team, but if a Lobethal Tigers team was also in the competition, a Lobethal player cannot play for that team.)
Qualification for finals in the Summer Competition is 3 games for the Team and that finals must be played in the grade the
player has played the most games in or higher.
Teams using an existing Club name and wearing the official Club uniform are deemed to be an official club team, and as
such, are the responsibility of that Club.
All players in your team shall be in matching uniforms.
There is no “grace period” for uniforms, and a player not dressed in suitable uniform will be removed from court and will not
be permitted to play, until a suitable uniform is obtained.
Shorts are not permitted as part of a uniform.
Netball Australia Rules of Netball apply at all times.
SUMMER NETBALL CHECKLIST
SEPTEMBER

Nomination forms to be completed & forwarded along with this signed acknowledgement of all terms and conditions/checklist.

No later than the 30th September

EFT $50 deposit NO later than 30th September

All players must be in the registered uniform for Round 1. No shorts, leggings, tracksuit pants may be worn.
OCTOBER (all minor round games)

Scorecards in all matches must be completed as follows:

Players names in alphabetical surname order

Positions to be completed for each quarter of the game

Goals scored & centre passes to be recorded

Scorer to sign card

Captain to sign card

Umpires to sign card & deliver back to Clubrooms
NOVEMBER

Fees must be paid by round 4. Any teams with fees outstanding can lose all of their points, have 10% interest added,
or not be accepted for competitions in the future
FEBRUARY

BY 10.00PM AT ROUND 13

Any team LIKELY to make finals must supply details of the umpire the team will provide for finals. Details to include full name,
phone number, email address & preferred (this is not guaranteed) umpiring time

BY MONDAY BEFORE SEMI FINAL

Player list for finals must be completed by 10.00AM.

$30 fine will apply is this is not received. This fine must be paid before the team can participate in finals

Nominations may be refused once a quota has been received, even if they are received before closing date,
so please return nominations as soon as possible.
FEES:



Senior $475 (Per team of up to 12 players)
Extra players (above 12) Senior $30.
A non refundable $50 deposit must be paid with registration forms.
(This deposit is deductible from team fees. All prices include GST)

All fees to be paid by 9th November, along with a list of player names
(Names not included on original team nomination sheets).

Cheques or direct debit preferred. No cash by mail. Clearly identifiable deposits and

INSURANCE



Current Netball SA (winter) members are covered by insurance.
Non NSA members should organise their own private insurance.
You may need to sign a disclaimer to acknowledge that you have elected to play without
insurance.
GENERAL



Nominations close last mail 30th September 2016 and Registration Form MUST be
signed and returned with any outstanding deposits by this date to the address at the
bottom of this form.
Bin Duty: All teams will be rostered to bin duty.
6.30 time slot. All teams are required to check that bin liners are in place on their courts.
8.30 time slot are required to sort rubbish and recyclables into plastic bags.
Bins to remain on courts. Gloves will be made available.
Any team failing to complete bin duty will be fined $30.00.
Dollar Night: 16th November, to assist towards cost of running lights over Summer
competition. All players and spectators must pay.
