PRACTICAL NURSING ADMISSION SCORE SHEET
(New requirements are for applicants applying by the deadline of February 15, 2016 and beyond)
Students accepted into the Practical Nursing program from a given application pool will be determined by the
following process: 80 percent of the selected applicants will be determined based on the highest point score from
the score sheet totals. The remaining 20 percent of the selected applicants will be determined randomly from the
remaining candidate pool after the applicants with the highest score sheet totals are determined.

REPEATED COURSES: The most recent course grade will be used. Points will be awarded as such:
 All courses may be repeated once (even if course received a “W”) to be awarded full points contingent of grade earned.
 If a course is repeated twice (even if course received a “W”), the grade earned will be awarded half the full point value.
 If a course is repeated three or more times (even if the course received a “W”), the grade earned will be awarded zero points.
