David THANK YOU! Thanks goes to everyone who helped to make our Christmas Celebrations so special. Your work for The Lord is certainly inspiring. Thank you also for the many cards and kind gifts received this Christmas. May God Bless you for your kindness and generosity. Love, Fr. David From Sr. Gemma - As 2011 begins, I ask God to bless in a special way each and every one of our parishioners. Who knows what the New Year holds. Since it is held by our loving God we know “all will be well”. Thanks to all of you who remembered me with gifts, cards and best wishes this Christmas Season and for my birthday. Often people say it must be hard having a birthday on the 24th. Actually it’s kind of fun. Lovingly, Sr. Gemma FAMILY PERSPECTIVE - Today’s gospel tells us “all Jerusalem” was upset because “King Herod was deeply troubled.” A similar ripple effect happens in families; one person’s negative attitude can affect the whole family. If you want a peaceful and joyful home, it must start with you. Be peaceful and joyful! SENSATIONAL SENIORS – Happy New Year! We will meet at OLL at 11:30 a.m on Wednesday, January 12th for a potluck lunch, 12:00 p.m…Dr. R. Krukemyer will address hearing loss, 12:30 p.m…a specialist from St. Charles will address exercise for seniors, and 1:00 p.m…a Life Flight nurse will tell us about their services. We are happy to have you this weekend! WELCOME to our parish community! A “special welcome” to any guests who may be visiting. May your visit be blessed!! + Saint boniface 215 N.
