Minor HurlingCarrigaline Minor hurlers played their first competitive game of the season in the Twomey Cup
against Passage. Carrigaline won on a score line of 1.16 to 9 Pts.
We had 17 players available for this fixture and all played a part in this win. Carrigaline started well
and competed for every ball playing a very attractive game of hurling running up a score line of
11Pts to 4Pts at half time.
In the second half passage came more into the game at the start and ran up some early points,
Carrigaline held their nerve and eventually got back in the game and started scoring again freely to
put the game out of reach with a full time score line of 1.16 to 9 pts.
Well done to all 17 players who competed for everything on the pitch and were deserving winners.
