raw score

Tom Daley won his first World Champion title at the age of 15.
He has won 2 Gold medals at Commonwealth Games and
Bronze at the London Olympics.
Dives are given scores of 1 to 10 points by several judges.
Different competitions use different numbers of judges.
This competition has 7 judges and so the highest two scores
and the lowest two scores awarded are disregarded and the
raw score is determined by adding the 3 remaining scores.
The raw score is then multiplied by the degree of difficulty
for the dive to give the diver’s final score.
