NEW CREDIT CARD
COMPARISON
TOOL TRANSLATES
POINTS TO
DOLLAR VALUES
For immediate release TORONTO –
RateHub.ca, Canada’s leading
mortgage rates search engine, is
expanding into credit card
comparisons with a new tool that
empowers Canadians to intelligently
choose the best credit card.
While 29% of Canadians say
rewards/benefits are the top reason for
acquiring a new credit card1, many fail
to understand the real dollar value
return from their cards when taking in
sign-up bonuses and spending
rewards, and subtracting annual fees.
RateHub.ca hopes to change that. In
addition to translating all rewards
programs into dollar values, the site’s
system allows users to enter their
monthly spending in major purchase
categories to generate personalized
card recommendations.
“Each person spends money on
different things, so it makes sense that
there is no one card that is best for
everyone. We will also be the first
website to highlight travel insurance
benefits and show our users how to
redeem their points through videos,”
says Alyssa Richard, CEO and Founder
of RateHub.ca.
