America’s Navy is committed to building leaders, empowering communities around the world, and wants to ensure that the students and professionals of their partner organizations
achieve their fullest potential to impact the world around them. America’s Navy is excited to bring a practical hands-on guide to continuous process improvement using Lean Six
Sigma Tools and Techniques.
The goals of the sessions are to equip participants with a basic working knowledge of continuous process improvement tools that is geared towards real-world application.
Participants who complete the workshop will earn a Navy Lean Six Sigma White Belt Completion Certificate. The curriculum will consist of three parts: Lean and Theory of
Constraints, Six Sigma and Structured Process Improvement, and Integrated Lean Six Sigma.

Must be 18 years of age or older by deadline

Must be employed as a full time professional in a STEM field
 Professionals in the early stage of their career are especially encouraged to apply
Enrollment
Must be enrolled as a full time student for the fall semester
 Undergraduate students is twelve (12) credit hours
 Graduate students is nine (9) credit hours
 Students on internship/co-op must show proof of enrollment in the internship/coop program
 Students at community college must be enrolled in transferable majors to a fouryear institution offering a Baccalaureate Degree

The purpose of the Lean Six Sigma Certification is to equip participants with a basic working knowledge of continuous process improvement tools that is
