Senior Manager (Inward Investment & Property Marketing)
Responsible To:

Key Accountability:

To drive Clyde Gateway’s continuing progress from its current position as an
emerging office and industrial location to become an established location of choice
by attracting new businesses and leading, managing and directing major business
investment activities.
Responsibilities:
-
Oversee and co-ordinate major business contact from initial enquiry through to
occupation.

Co-ordinate all aspects of Clyde Gateway’s investor response including proposition
development, enquiry and lead generation, enquiry management, appropriate
incentivisation and creation of winning proposals.

In close collaboration with SE/SDI, identify key industrial and commercial sectors
and investment sources suitable to locate, invest and grow in Clyde Gateway and
work with SE/SDI to put together the best propositions that meet our mutual
economic development and growth goals.

Maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with all public and private sector agencies
and ensure positive support for Gateway’s activities.

Maintain the ability to respond rapidly with compelling sites and properties to
priority high value enquiries arising from SE/SDI inward investment and high growth
companies, direct contacts, local authority and agency enquiries.

Ensure the overall Clyde Gateway proposition and individual opportunities are
marketed effectively.

Utilising market intelligence and trend monitoring, contribute to Clyde Gateways’
development pipeline to ensure suitable sites and properties will be available for
key sector enquiries.

Maintain and manage relationships with any potential inward investors and growth
companies which fall outwith the priorities of the national agencies and nurture
value-added contacts.

Engage regularly with key economic sectors to gauge likely demand and
continually to test market sentiment.

Manage one or more staff employed by or seconded to the URC.

Contribute as necessary to the strategic and operational management of Clyde
Gateway.
Person Specification:
Essential
-
Educated to degree level.
-
Extensive experience in one or more areas of: regeneration; securing inward
investment; property agency; developing sites and properties to meet specific
business requirements; competing successfully for commercial occupiers; and,
investing for business growth.

Experience in a highly pressured, target driven environment.
-
Experience of high level partnerships and project working in a related field.
-
Awareness of relevant regulations and public sector support, schemes and
limitations.
Desirable

Proven track record in project management and large-scale delivery on time-critical
projects.

Proactive with leadership and analytical skills.
