POLAND YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION GENERAL INFORMATION VERSON 02 INFOSHEET 2017 G E N E R A L I N F O R M AT I O N Players / Parents Coaches • Your coach will make contact with you July • Sign Up at Registration • Practices will start in August • You will be notified in May—June • Practice Days, Times & Locations will be determined by the coach. • Required Activities: Register for Risk Management Background Check Complete Concussion Awareness Training • (8) 1-Hour games — (Saturday mornings; Aug & Oct ) • Eligibility Ages 4-18 by Aug 1st (see chart on back of page) All Communities • H.S. and U14 age groups will be co-ed play • All other age groups will be gender specific unless player and coach numbers dictate co-ed play • Registration Fee: $65 first child, $55 second, $45 third, $35 each additional. • Coaching Clinic- (2) days —July • Receive your roster & uniforms, contact team —July Referees • Sign Up at Registration • Look for contact from the referee coordinator • Referee Clinic—(2) days —July • Equipment required: shin guards, spikes, socks shorts, & soccer ball. (Equipment exchange available). FIELD LOCATION Field Location All PYSA Youth Games are held at the Soccer Fields located in Poland Township Park, on Moore Road. The Poland Township Park fields are also the home fields for PYSA's Travel Program. PYSA is a volunteer organization comprised of people giving back to the community. Knowledge of soccer is not a requirement to be a PYSA Trustee, but what is required is a willingness to help organize, supervise, administrate, labor, laugh and make new friends. If you can commit to a majority of the events listed and want to contribute to the management of the soccer season, then we could use you in PYSA.
