School Wide Behaviour Implementation Policy

School Wide Behaviour
Implementation Policy
Beliefs
A school wide behaviour policy is necessary to ensure common processes across the school
community, so staff students and parents understand school expectations of behaviour in all
settings within the school.
There are 4 important elements to supporting social competence including: systems; data;
common practices and outcomes while supporting student behaviour and decision making.
Student achievement and behaviour can be influenced by the overall approaches of the school
and explicit teaching of positive behaviour expectations.
A positive, respectful, predictable and trusting school climate is important for all members of
the school community including staff, students, parents and visitors.
