Open to all financial members and associates of Pony Club. Riders must have attended at least THREE working
rallies with their own Club in the last twelve months and horses must have attended ONE working rally.
Competitors may ride 2 horses in each discipline.
Official Pony Club uniform must be worn.
Current ASA Standard riding helmets must be worn in all events
DOGS – As per current insurance regulations NO dogs are allowed on the grounds or in cars on the day.
No stallions allowed on the grounds

itself, accepts liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground, spectators, or any
person or property whatsoever.
RESERVATION – The organisers of the competition reserve the right to cancel any class or event, divide any
class, alter the advertised starting time, and refuse entry with or without stating the reason.

Conditions of Entry – Dressage

CLASSIFICATION – Each club team will consist of one rider from grade 1, 2 and 3. The scores of the club’s best rider in each group will
count towards the clubs no.1 team score, the second best rider in each group will count towards the club’s no.2 score & so on. The winning team
will be the one whose score is the best overall.
The competitions will be run in three groups:
 Grades 1, 2 & 3 – Seniors and juniors will compete together in one class for each grade.
 The age of riders will be taken as at 1st January 2015.
 The organisers shall be notified of any substitutions and scratchings ASAP.
ENTRY – Riders may ride more than one horse, however the maximum number of riders per dressage judge is 30 so please nominate 1 st Horse
preference in case of balloting.
EXERCISE – Horses may be schooled or exercised only by their nominated rider when on the grounds. Rider must be wearing their back
numbers at all times when they are mounted.
TESTS – No test may be called.
SADDLERY – Snaffle bits only shall be permitted. Whips and Spurs as per the handbook guidelines may be used.
DRAW – A draw will be sent to the DC a few days prior to the event. Times will be strictly adhered to but riders will need to be ready to go in
early in the event of a scratching.
TROPHIES & RIBBONS – In the case of a scramble winning, they are awarded Ribbons but any trophy goes to the first placed club. Ribbons /
Rosettes will be awarded to third place for teams and fourth places for individuals.

ELIGIBIITY – Competitors may compete up to two horses. Open to all financial members and associates of Pony Club.
Riders must have attended at least THREE working rallies with their own club in the last twelve months and horse must
have attended ONE working rally.
QUALIFICATIONS – Riders must ride in their “Graded” height at DC Judgment. DC to ensure that riders are capable of
jumping height. Riders are to have one qualifying round at the entered Show Jumping height.
TEAMS – A team to consist of 3 – 4 riders, one from each grade, with the best 3 scores to count. If clubs cannot field a
team, scramble teams will be made up from individual riders. Teams are to be entered for both Equitation and Show
Jumping competitions. Scramble teams to be nominated prior to the starting of competition.
INDIVIDUALS – Clubs may enter as many individual riders as they wish. Individual riders not already in a Club team will
be placed in a scramble team wherever possible.
DISPUTES AND OBJECTIONS – Any disputes are to be brought to the organising committee through the relevant
Club’s District Commissioner or his/her authorized agent.
DISPENSATIONS – Any dispensations to be addressed at the October Zone Meeting.
TROPHIES AND SASHES – A perpetual shield will be presented to the winning team in both Equitation and
Championship classes. In the case of a scramble team winning the shield goes to the first placed club. Sashes will be
awarded to 3rd place for overall teams and 4th place for individuals. A perpetual shield will be presented to the best
overall score of both classes in each grade.
