Team size shall be 11v11.
Age Group teams can be single or mixed gender.
Minimum number of players to START a match is 9.
Minimum number of players to CONTINUE a match is 7.
The playing area shall be maximum size 110 yards x 70
yards, minimum size 90 yards x 50 yards. The Playing area
shall be marked with a regulation line marking compound.
The goal size for age group U18s is 24 ft x 8 ft only. Goals
shall be secured in accordance with manufacturer's
instructions.
Goal nets and corner flags are compulsory.
The ball shall be a size 5.
A maximum of 5 substitutes may be used at any time with
the permission of the Referee. Players may re-enter the
game with permission of the Referee and all players shall
play in the match.
Players shall wear shin guards, which shall be entirely
covered with stockings.
A Referee shall be allocated to every match. Each Team
shall provide a Club Assistant Referee to run the line. All
Referees shall have a whistle, red and yellow cards plus a
notebook. It is the responsibility of the Home Team to
ensure this.
Duration of matches shall be 2 x 45 minutes per half, 5
minutes between each half. Teams to change ends after 1
half.
Club officials who Referee a match shall refrain from
coaching.
Prior to each match the participating Teams and officials
shall conduct the ‘Respect’ handshake.
The Team officials shall be held responsible for the
behaviour of players, supporters and any other persons
involved with the fixture. Any dispute or complaint shall be
forwarded to the League Secretary as per Rule 15.
Except where otherwise provided above, the Laws of
Association football shall apply With the exception of these
age group rules all other Association Rules shall be

All Referees must be paid before the start of the match by
the home team and the costs split equally between the two
teams.
Cup match – If required extra time for all Cup Competitions
shall be 10 minutes each way.
