Easy Reimbursement
Check with your state’s motor vehicle agency for
special requirements on driving with adaptive equipment.
Once your vehicle has been purchased and adaptive
equipment installation is complete, simply give your dealer
your vehicle bill of sale and paid adaptive equipment invoice,
and they will promptly submit your claim.
3. Locate a mobility dealer
Our Mobility Resource Guide can help you find an
experienced adaptive equipment dealer. Contact us today to request your free copy.
4. Consider your vehicle options
We may have more vehicle options
than you think. Many Ford and
Lincoln vehicles can be adapted to
meet a variety of physical needs.
Visit your local Ford or Lincoln
dealership to discuss your vehicle
selection.
5. Bank on Ford Credit
Enjoy lowered payments over the life of your loan.
Ford Credit offers qualified customers special
flexible finance terms on both new vehicles and adaptive equipment purchases.

Program Guidelines
• Major structural vehicle modifications must be done by
a Ford-authorized Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM).
For a complete list of QVMs visit fordmobilitymotoring.com and select “Adapt Your Vehicle | Qualified Vehicle Modifier”.
• Initiation of the adaptation must take place within
12 months of the dealer-reported date of sale or lease and claimed within 12 months of that date.
•
Original documentation, prepared by a certified medical
professional, detailing the permanent medical condition
and need for equipment is required when that equipment
does not have a clear definition of need.
– Examples: alert hearing devices, swivel seats, pedal
extensions, aftermarket lumbar support and
running boards.
• Eligible vehicles include new vehicles acquired from a
U.S. Ford Authorized Pool Converter.
*Reimbursement for the exact amount of vehicle adaptation up to $1,000 on adaptive
equipment. Up to $200 on alerting devices, lumbar support and running boards when not
available from the factory. Total reimbursement not to exceed $1,000.
