*GSE11899 GEO series. Fifteen miRNAs were down-regulated in the Dicer KO cells, but none was
up-regulated. This unbalanced profile is consistent with the deficiency in the processing
mechanisms for the production of mature miRNAs in these cells. To be noted that the number of
differentially regulated mRNA for the coding genes was roughly balanced, i.e. 3000 up-regulated
and 3000 down-regulated mRNAs (Chi square, p-value<0.001).
