Always Learning Award
The Always Learning Award is presented by the Trustees of the Avon Maitland District School Board to
individuals or groups who make or have made outstanding contributions toward the achievement of the
Board’s Strategic Plan as shown below. These Awards are a public celebration of the extraordinary work
and effort of individuals involved in education across the Avon Maitland district.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Always Learning Awards, which will be presented on
Wednesday, June 7, 2017. The Always Learning Awards will be presented to individuals or groups in
the Avon Maitland District School Board community, (which includes students, parents, staff, community
partners, and the trustees). Any individual or group in the Avon Maitland District School Board
community may be nominated or participate in a nomination. All nominations must be supported by three
non-related nominators.
Deadline for Nominations: Friday, April 21, 2017 at 4:00 pm
When completing a recognition nomination form, you should consider answering the following question:
How has the nominee or nominees made a significant contribution toward the achievement of one
or more aspects of our Board’s Strategic Plan as outlined below. Please provide concrete examples
on the recognition nomination form.
