Tournament and Arena Rules
No smoking in arena or outside of front doors.
Inappropriate language or gestures will not be tolerated.
All Referee decisions are final.
Coaches and parents are not allowed on the ice without Referee permission.
Do not throw items including hats on to ice.
Ice will be re-surfaced between games.
Home team will wear light color jersey and visitor in dark color jersey.
Time for periods will be STOP time.
Running time will occur whenever a team has a 6 or more goal lead in any period..
All teams must be dressed and ready to take ice 15 min prior to games start time.
Game play will be awarded as follows: win-2 points, loss-0 points, tie-1 point. There will be no ties during the consolation and
championship games. If a tie exists at the end of regulation play, there will be a one minute rest period, followed by a 5 minute
sudden death period without changing ends or resurfacing. If a tie still exists at the end of overtime, each head coach will select 5
players to participate in a shootout, and teams will alternate shots with the visiting team shooting first, until a winner is
determined. If a tie still exists, another 5 players will shoot with no players being repeated.
All teams will play a minimum of 3 games.
1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded a team trophy.
All individual players will receive a medal.
*Games will be played in 3 - 12min periods
* 1.5 min. minor penalties for Squirts
* 2 min. minor penalties for Bantams
* 5 min. major penalties
* 10 min. misconduct penalties
