The sixth grade girl’s basketball team has gotten off to a hot start with a 3-0 record with wins over
Cupertino, Lawson, and Miller Middle schools. Winning each game with solid defensive efforts, your 6th
grade lady Spartans look to hold their spot at the top of the rankings next week with games against Hyde
and Columbia.
Your seventh graders have been riding the roller coaster this season losing their first two games against
two undefeated squads in Blach and Cupertino, coming back with two stellar victories over Lawson and
Miller, and lastly a tough loss to Egan. Good luck Lady Spartans in your next games.
The 8th grade girl’s basketball team is off to a good start! With a big win over Lawson, they are working
hard to get a few more wins. The Lady Spartans play next Wednesday at home vs. Columbia
and Thursday away at Graham and hope to get 2 more wins after next week. Come out and cheer us on
as we score our way to some victories!
The student council deadline has been extended to next Monday. Come to Mr. Brown's room B1 at brunch
or lunch to sign up for student council. As a student council representative you will attend meetings every
other Wednesday and discuss important events that are held for school. You also vote on dance themes,
approve expenses and spread the message about important upcoming events to your grade level. There
will only be five from each grade so come we need you!!
