The New SL-V XL High Output Injector Increases Output
And Significantly Lowers Installation Cost
Last year, Lincoln redefined injector technology by introducing the advanced,
patented SL-V injector. Now, the SL-V product family includes the big brother to
the standard size SL-V – the SL-V XL, a high output version that has all of the
advantages that SL-V injectors provide. Each injector has .300 in3 (5 cm3) output
per cycle.
The new SL-V XL high output injector mounts in the same standard manifolds
as SL-1 and SL-V injectors. This means substantial cost and timesavings for you
because special mounting hardware and additional plumbing labor are no longer
needed for large lubrication applications (up to 25% cost savings!).
You now have an option for the SL-11. Two cross-ported SL-V XL injectors can
deliver 22% more output than one SL-11, plus installation is quicker and easier
because of manifold mounting. Manifold mounting means much more flexibility.
SL-V XL injectors can be installed along with, or in place of, SL-1 and SL-V injectors.
Additionally, the output of one SL-V XL injector is over three times more than that of
a single standard injector, significantly reducing material and inventory costs.
As with the standard SL-V, all SL-V XL injectors come with a clear, impact resistant
polycarbonate cap, the Visual Bypass Indicator feature, and the Spectrum
Adjustment Sleeve system for presetting precise outputs. Six new sizes of
adjustment sleeves specifically for the XL injector have been added.
Dimensionally, the SL-V XL is identical to the standard SL-V, except it is approximately
56 mm longer. The only other difference between the new XL and the standard SL-V
injector is inside; the SL-V XL has a polyurethane U-cup seal at the bottom of the
measuring piston instead of the O-ring seal as found in the standard SL-V.
The SL-V XL injectors are available as replacement injectors (manifold and no manifold models),
and as manifolded assemblies in the same configurations as all SL-V and SL-1 injectors.
