Shopping List of cleaning supplies:
To keep things simple we at Bubbles and Squeak use your cleaning supplies
within your home. This ensures that we are using products you like, trust and
have selected specifically for your home needs. The fact is that every surface in
our homes gets dirty. We need a good cleaning product to keep all the smudges,
spills, and sticky spots clean. Our best friend is a good all purpose cleaner, but
you may want an extra cleaner or two for general purposes around the house.
We recommend:

















All-Purpose Cleaner- disinfectant for kitchen and washrooms
Floor cleaner –, murphys oil soap for wood, multi purpose for tile/laminate
even a mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle works well,
inexpensive and ‘green’ or any brand you wish.
Kitchen Cleaner such as a degreaser
Bathroom Cleaners and brush for toilet
Sponges, Paper Towels, Micro Fibre Cleaning Cloths (Bubbles maids will
bring some cloths but please have at least 15 rags along with your
supplies)
Glass / Mirror cleaner
Scrubbers or a brush for faucets and grout
Stainless steel cleaner, marble, stone ect…
Flat Stove tops – ‘Cermabryte’ Brand.
Baby oil is an inexpensive way to ‘shine’ your stainless steel!
Extendable Duster ( a long reaching duster for ceiling corners, ceiling fans
ect…highly recommended instead of using a broom)
Vinegar and water in a spray bottle-labelled.
Mop and bucket
Vacuum cleaner with additional bag or note to say where to find an extra
or if a central vacuum system, a note to inform of how many wall sockets
and if the switch needs to be turned on at the source.
Vacuum cleaner- please empty a canister container prior to service day.
Garbage bags, organic liners and a note to say where it should be disposed
of in bins—inside a shed, garage, side or back of home…
Basically we are happy to use any brand you enjoy as long as it is properly
labelled!
Other Green Brands—‘Green Works’ (Zellers, Wal-Mart) or ‘Presidents Choice Green’ brands
and Shoppers Drugmart ‘Bio life’ brands are all environmental, child and pet friendly and work
well too! Another favorite is using ‘Fruits of Passion’ store products- smell amazing too!
