Dear 9- Holers,
I hope this letter finds everyone in good spirits and good health as we enter
another summer of golf! It is our goal to start league on May 12th and run for 18
weeks through September 8th. Barring another lousy spring, this goal should be very
attainable 
League will operate much the same way as it did before with a few minor changes to
spice up the action and encourage interest throughout the league season.
COST: $75 per person (DUE BEFORE LEAGUE STARTS)
NEW: Subs will be allowed to compete for regular members. Subs will be required to
maintain a handicap at Hayward Golf Club and will be required to notify Pro Shop
who they will be playing for. COST: $25 to substitute. Teams not able to find a
substitute will still follow the net 40 rule utilized in years past. We want to
encourage more guys to be able to play, even if they can’t commit to the whole year.
Weekly Prize Money: There are a few slight increases to payout and an additional
proxy each week for LONG DRIVE in fairway.

$5.00 SKINS GAME EACH WEEK (GROSS)
NEW: YEAR-END POINTS RACE:
Each week teams will earn points based upon their net performance. EXAMPLE –
IF 45 TEAMS COMPETE, the best net team score will receive 45 points and the worst
net team will receive 1 point. Points will accumulate throughout season and lay
groundwork for 4-week playoff at the end of the season.
BONUS POOL PAYOUT: 1ST - $200, 2nd - $100, 3rd – 50, 4th - $25
Tee Times will still range from 2:00pm to 5:30pm with a sign up sheet in pro shop.
$5.00 late fee will apply for players not paying after first 2 weeks of the season!
REMINDERS
When you finish your round, write your net score on the sheet in dining
room. Leave scorecard in box, making sure last names and HDCP appear.
USE YOUR HANDICAP FROM THE BOOK, NOT THE COMPUTER!
Register for handicap in pro shop. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A HDCP!!!
