be used by the Department for general student administration and vocational education and training administration and regulation; as well as departmental planning,

HOW TO APPLY
Application deadlines
You need to submit your application in time to allow visa processing, which might take up to three months, depending on the country you are
applying from. You must arrive at your campus before your Orientation program starts. Late entry is not always possible.
Step 1
Select the city you would like to study in followed by the course, noting the duration, cost and availability. You may wish to nominate a second
course preference. Complete the application form.
Step 2
Send your completed application form to TAFE Queensland North with certified copies of the following documentation attached:

☐ Educational certificate(s) and academic results (must include grading scale/key used at the institution where you have undertaken your
studies)
☐ English language test results
☐ Statement of purpose
☐ Evidence of employment history (If applicable)
☐ References from employers (If applicable)
If documentation is not in English, an official certified translation must be included.
Step 3
Wait for your Letter of Offer. If you have met all of the entry requirements and supplied all relevant documentation, you will receive an
electronic Letter of Offer package, which you (or your agent) will receive by email. The package will include:
☐ Letter of Offer
☐ Name and duration of the programs you have been accepted into
☐ Any credit you have been awarded for previous study (if course syllabus of previous subjects was provided with your application)
☐ Tuition fees and other costs
☐ Terms and conditions of enrolment
☐ Overseas Student Health Cover Information
Step 4
After you receive your Letter of Offer, please complete and sign the declaration on page two (2) of your Letter of Offer, meet any conditions
listed, and return it to TAFE Queensland North or your agent, along with the first payment due.
Step 5
When you have met all conditions and your payment has been received we will provide you with the following documents:
☐ Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE)
☐ Receipt of your payment
☐ Overseas Student Health Coverage Information (OSHC)
☐ Pre-departure information
☐ Orientation schedule
You will need these documents to apply for your Australian student visa. Further details will be provided upon acceptance of your offer.
Step 6
Apply for your student visa at the nearest Embassy or Consulate in your home country.
Step 7
When you have your student visa, you need to make travel and accommodation arrangements. Make sure you arrive in Australia in time to
attend the compulsory international orientation.
