If the player doesn’t appear contact your club administrator and ask them to create them. ● Once the player has been selected, click the green ‘add’ button to add that player to your team. ● Keep searching and adding players until the process is complete and then select close. Please Note : You can assign a player to as many teams within the same club as you desire. Removing players from teams Please note : Club Admins are able to remove players from any team, Team Admins are only able to remove players from the team they administer. ● Once in the Club area select the team from that club you wish to remove players from. ● To remove all players from this team click the Options icon on the right (See image below) and select remove all players. ● You can individually remove players by clicking on options icon on the right of their name within the team player list MANAGING CLUB AND TEAM ADMINISTRATORS Administrator roles play an integral part of the CricHQ administration module. Depending on the administrative role you are assigned you can gain permissions to create entire competitions down to the ability to manage or score for an individual team. A definition of the difference between a CLUB administrator and a TEAM Administrator is outline below. Club and Team Administrators : Club Administrators are those who look after all information within a club. They can create new club players, therefore registering them, and can access all fixtures for all teams within it. Club administrators can also add other club administrators to help them in these tasks. Team Administrators are those that submit results, score matches, control the team squad list and update player details. We recommend this as the major administration right to be given out as users can not view inappropriate data or manipulate a club. Anyone can be granted access to as many teams as required. Adding Team Administrators ● ● ● To Add a Team administrator you must make sure you are in the team area you wish to add an administrator to. Now select the Administrators tab within that team area and click on the Options Icon. You will now be able to either ADD EXISTING USER, this is a person with an existing CricHQ account. You will also be able INVITE VIA EMAIL, this will send that person an email through which they will create themselves a CricHQ account and automatically become linked to your team. PLEASE NOTE: Team Administrators cannot add to the Club Players list and will have to contact a club administrator in order to create a new player for them to select within a team. Remove an Administrator To remove an administrator simply return to the administrators page and click on the options icon then select the REMOVE button on the right of their name. You will receive a warning box which will ask you if you’re sure you wish to remove the administrator. If you’re happy to proceed then select remove and they will no longer be an administrator for that club. HOW TO FIND FIXTURES ONLINE Finding your fixtures through CricHQ is incredibly easy as they have all been set up for you prior to the start of the season and your administration rights allow you to find only your fixtures. Accessing your fixtures online will allow you to enter a scorecard manually if you weren’t able to use the CricHQ Scoring App and also allows you to view your fixtures by date. Below is the step by step guide to finding your fixtures online. ● Making sure you have the correct administration rights click ADMIN then click FIXTURES to show you a list of fixtures that your team are playing in. ● If you have more than one team to administer you can click the team filter and flick between teams to find the fixtures you’re looking for. ● You can also filter between dates by setting the date parameters next to the teams filter. Please Note : you will always be set to the current week until you change the dates yourself. ● Once you’ve found the fixture you’re looking for you will be given its STATE on the right. It will tell you whether there is a scorecard already added to this fixture by the state RESULT, or if there is a scorecard waiting to be accepted by the results administrator by the state PENDING, or if there is no scorecard attached yet by the state WAITING or OVERDUE. Additional information may be given for the fixture, for example the CANCELLED fixture as shown. HOW TO REPORT RESULTS ONLINE This next section will allow you to enter a Full Manual Scorecard into a particular fixture if the App wasn’t used to capture it. By using the above guide on locating your fixtures you must now follow the next guide to enter in your match statistics and result; ● Enter the Fixtures Tab through your Admin section and locate the fixture you need to add a scorecard too. Once found, check the STATE of the fixture and click on either WAITING or OVERDUE to take you through to that fixtures information box. ● To enter a scorecard simply click on the SCORECARDS tab next to INFO and you’ll notice two options on the right of the screen. ENTER BASIC SCORECARD will allow you to update the basic result information only. ENTER FULL SCORECARD will allow you to enter full statistics for your players and this is the option you will be taken through in the next section of the guide. Entering a Full Scorecard ● ● ● Once clicked on ENTER A FULL SCORECARD you will be taken to fixture information page. This information is a confirmation of the fixture and will not need adding to. Please Note: Once through to the full scorecard page you will not be able to leave that page without losing your entered result so make sure if you want to leave the page you are happy to lose your progress. Next you will be given two boxes, the box on the left contains that teams squad of players, additionally below that box is the club list for that club so that if the team administrator has not assigned their players to their team they may be able to be found in the club players box. Please Note : If you’re playing a team who aren’t using CricHQ at all then there may not be any players to choose from. In this case simply click next and select your players and only enter your players information into the innings section. You must select the players in batting order as it will automatically put them into the batting order when entering statistics. You can do this by either dragging and dropping them into place or double clicking them in order. Please Note: You can not enter a full scorecard on your tablet or phone currently as there is no function for dragging and dropping or double tapping for the player select. ● ● The next page allows you to enter your captain and wicket keeper into the scorecard to be denoted by a * for the captain and a ✝ for wicket keepers on the scorecard. Please Note : if you have selected your captain in your team admin section then they will automatically be selected as the captain in the full scorecard entry. The next page requires you to add the match toss which will allocate the batting and bowling innings correctly. Also you will need to add the home and away match results. Please Note: if you add a home match result it will not automatically update the away match result. ● Once you’ve completed the players, captains, keepers, match toss and home and away match result it is now time to add in the statistics into the 2 innings. The next few images will show you the layout of the BATTING, EXTRAS, RESULT AND BOWLING fields. ● ● ● Each option for a batsman or bowlers name will give you a drop down list of the players selected to play in this fixture that you selected at the beginning. Once you select a wicket type for each batsman you will be given additional boxes to select the players who were involved in the wicket. The innings end box will allow you to give a context in which the match ended i.e all out or finished overs. You can also add a batsman or bowler by clicking on the ADD or REMOVE buttons at the bottom of each list. ● Once finished your scorecard first double check you have all the information added correctly before submitting the scorecard as once you have submitted it you can only edit it if your county CricHQ administrator hasn’t accepted it and it is in a PENDING state, normally you can find the scorecard again straight away and edit any info you need. After they accept the scorecard the only person who can edit the scorecard is the county admin. Please Note : you can use the back button on your browser to flick through your scorecard pages and not lose your information. Use this to check you have entered the correct information in all areas before submitting.
