INOW: TRANSFER STUDENT GRADE FOR 1ST NINE WEEKS
ENTER PREVIOUS GRADING PERIOD’S GRADE IN GRADE BOOK
A. CLASSROOM – GRADE BOOK – SELECT CLASS – Make sure the grading period is
current – REFRESH
B. MANGAGE – STUDENT AVERAGES – Double click in the cell under the previous
grading period’s DIRECT column on the student’s row.
C. Enter the previous grading period’s grade in the DIRECT bar. (If student is from
a different school, the Registrar will provide the grade to you. If the student is
transferred from one class to another class within your school, follow the instructions
below in Step E.

D. The comment “Recently Transferred to Class” must be selected for
transfer students. Click OK to save.
When Grades are posted, the Comments entered into the Student
Averages will overwrite the current blank or populated Comment.

These instructions are only for entering a student’s grade that has transferred
from one class to another class within the same school.
E. FIND A STUDENT’S GRADE FROM A PREVIOUS CLASS AND
GRADING PERIOD
From INOW home – select STUDENTS – Enter the last name to search for student – click
SEARCH
Select the student from the list by clicking on the blue FILE number. On the next screen,
under MANGAGE on the left navigation column select GRADES. Change the Grading
Period if necessary and click REFRESH to see the student’s grades for all classes.
EXAMPLE: For the 1st nine week grade, change the grading period to 1st nine weeks and
click REFRESH. Find the grade from the previous class. This grade will be entered in the
grade book to calculate the final semester grade. Close screens. Follow steps C and D
above.
