A relatively easy section which mostly follows bike paths and paved trails. Park
gates will be locked preventing cars from entering checkpoints outside of park
opening times, but exits are left open.

At the lake, take the path to the right over the small footbridge.

Pass under Eastlink, and follow around to the right approximately 50m. Turn left at path
intersection to continue on Dandenong Creek Trail.

Turn left at Police Road, walk across end of street and pick up Dandenong Creek Trail again.

Depart the start location situated beside Jells Park Tea House and follow the bitumen
walking trail south towards Jells Park (Melway Ref: 71 K7).
Pass under Wellington Road and follow path back up to Wellington Road. Turn left to
continue heading south along Dandenong Creek Trail.
