EMErgence: Electronic Music Experience is a program that seeks to provide an opportunity for
young artists to work with teaching artists to create their own musical works while engaging in
workshops, educational activities and a productive studio space.
You are signing up for EMErgence: in the Community
You will work in a small group of 6-8 young artists with your Teaching Artists through the whole
7 day program. You will be assigned to Groups A, B, C or D. You will leave with a track that you have
created with your group. You will have the time to learn how to create your own beats using software,
instruments and your voice. YOU are the artist!
Please fill out the registration form with care. You will be placed into your groups according to
how you answer the questions.
