HOW TO PLAY
Casino Hold’em is an exciting variant of five-card
poker in which players play against the house, not
each other.
An unlimited number of players can play
simultaneously at one Casino Hold’em table. The
game is played with one standard 52-card deck,
with the cards shuffled after each game.
What is the aim of the game?
The aim is to beat the dealer’s hand by getting the
best possible five-card hand, made out of the two
cards dealt to the player and the five community
cards.
To add to the excitement of the main Ante bet, each
player can also place a Bonus bet that pays out if a
Pair of Aces or higher is dealt in the first five cards.
Not only that, players can be sure of a consistent,
familiar user interface when they play Live Casino
Hold’em on their different devices.
Just like playing in a real casino
We make sure your players feel at home at the live
table in other ways, too. The live dealer welcomes
each player and is able to interact with them
throughout the game. Each player can send chat
messages to the dealer and fellow players, and all
players can hear the dealer’s responses and game
commentary via built-in audio.
Real cards are dealt, and there’s the suspense of
seeing what hands can be made from your two
dealt cards and the five community cards as the live
game unfolds.
Evolution Live Casino Hold’em makes following the
game quick and easy for both new and experienced
players. Once all cards are dealt and the dealer’s
initial two cards are turned face up, the online
system forms the best-paying hands on-screen for
both player and dealer.

The initial Ante bet and the optional Bonus bet
To play the game the player must place a bet on the
Ante (the initial bet). Optionally the player can also
place a Bonus bet.
The dealer deals out two cards face up to the player
and two cards face down to the dealer.
Three community cards are dealt face up in the
middle of the table. These three community cards
are common for the use of both the player and the
dealer for making up their respective hands. (Two
more community cards are dealt later in the game.)
After the dealing of the initial cards the player
can see the name of his or her card combination
displayed on the screen.
Call or Fold
Now the player has to estimate their chances of
winning and to decide whether to Call (and continue
playing), or Fold (and lose all bets made).
If the player has a winning Bonus bet, they will see
a message stating ‘CALL to collect your BONUS
win!’ The player then has to click/tap on CALL to
receive their Bonus bet payout.

By clicking/tapping CALL the player continues
to play the game and places the Call bet, which
is always double the Ante bet. When the player
decides to Call, their winning Bonus bet will be paid
out.
By clicking/tapping FOLD the player will lose all bets
placed – the Ante bet and the Bonus bet.
When the player Folds they will still see the
remainder of the game played out, but they will not
participate.

If the players and dealer have hands of the same
type, the one that includes the card of highest value
wins (e.g. three Kings beats three Queens; a flush of
Q, J, 10, 9, 8 beats a flush of 10, 9, 8, 7, 6).
When the player and dealer tie, the next highest
card that is not part of the paying hand (known as
the ‘Kicker’) determines the winner.
Malfunction voids all pays and play.
Automatic Fold if time runs out
If decision time is over and the player has not
made a CALL or FOLD decision, their hand will be
automatically Folded and they will lose all their bets.
The ‘traffic lights’ game information indicator will
display the message ‘AUTO FOLD’.
The two additional community cards
When decision time is finished, the dealer will deal
two additional community cards (called ‘Turn’ and
‘River’) and will then turn the dealer’s initial two
cards face up.
Best-paying hands formed and compared
To find a winner, the best-paying hands are formed
and compared for the player and for the dealer,
using five out of the seven available cards (that
is, the two cards dealt to the player plus all five
community cards).
The dealer must have a Pair of Fours or higher to
qualify.
The player wins if the dealer doesn’t qualify: The
Ante bet is paid out according to the payout table,
and the Call bet is returned to the player. The best
five cards and the name of this winning combination
is displayed on screen with small card icons.
The player wins if the dealer’s hand qualifies and
dealer’s hand is lower than the player’s: The Ante
bet is paid out according to the payout table and
the Call bet pays 1:1.

The player loses if the dealer’s hand qualifies and
dealer’s hand is higher than the player’s: The player
loses both their Ante bet and Call bet.
It is a Push when the players and dealer have
exactly the same hand: A Push means nobody wins

Multi-Game Play
With Multi-Game Play, players can even play up
to four Evolution live games simultaneously in a
single master window. While playing one game they
simply click the + symbol to join further games.
Choose 3D View or Classic View
Players can choose their view of the game by
clicking on the Settings button in the toolbar. By
default the player sees the 3D View of the game.
3D View
In 3D View the player’s seat and designated
betting area appears directly on the livestream video image of the game table.

In Classic View the live-stream video image is

the user interface is perfectly adapted to take
advantage of each tablet’s capabilities. Image
quality is assured, too, as the game’s integral live
video feed plays in superb quality using HTML5
built-in native video support.
This makes for an absolutely world-class live

Game mode and layout
The Live Casino Hold’em game can be played
horizontally or vertically. When the user moves the
tablet from horizontal to vertical orientation, the
game layout switches automatically.
3D View
A tap on the Play button starts the video stream of
the game, which on tablet is displayed in 3D View,
as shown below.

The user interface initially displays the optimum
