Tournament Arrangements
1. Right of admission reserved;
2. No item may be sold or traded by any person other than those given permission by the tournament organizer in writing;
3. By your entry into this tournament you hereby agree unconditionally to abide by all the rules and regulations;
4. The organizers of the tournament are not responsible for the safety of players or their property;
5. Players must provide their own chess pieces and clocks. The organisers will provide the chess boards.
Clocks not required for the Beginners Section;
6. FIDE Rules apply;
7. Tuck shop available. Chess equipment will be for sale.
Registration process
1. Complete one registration form per player or the school form if a group of players register;
2. Payments to: Carel de Wet THS, ABSA, Acc. 530390217, Branch Code: 632 005
 To assist us we kindly request that you make separate payments for different players;
 For EFT payments please use CHESS, the player’s SURNAME, NAME and SECTION as the reference number;
3. Email the completed registration form and proof of payment to [email protected]
4. Closing date: Wednesday, 01 March 2017 @ 20h00.
5. Entries received after closing date and time, will participate from the second round;
6. Players must bring the original registration document and proof of payment to the tournament (or pay before round 2)
7. It will be each players own responsibility to check the players list on www.sedchess.co.za on Thursday and refer all
queries to: Wilna de Koster (076 764 1310) or Annali Grobler (082 562 3255) before Friday evening 20h00.
